Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 "Dance With Beasts Before the Moon Rises": who should skip, and who should claim first
Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Pearl, written as a skip list. Who doesn't need to read it, what the rest should claim free, three tests for Pearl, when the new relic cavern is worth farming, and the questions that follow.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.6: who should skip this outright
Three groups can stop reading here.
Archive players: skip if it's already full
If your character archive is complete and you don't chase strength, there's nothing here for you. Pulling only buys a duplicate.
Story players: you don't need the strength talk
Running only the main story and skipping endgame? Ignore every pull recommendation. The story doesn't demand it.
Free-stuff players: claim and leave
If you only want the free rewards, read the next section and go. The pull talk isn't for you.
Honkai: Star Rail 4.6: what the rest should claim first
These expire and don't come back. Claim first, decide about pulling later.
7-day sign-in: 10 Star Rail Passes
"Starhunt Voyage" gives 10 Star Rail Passes for seven days of sign-in. This is the easiest reward to miss in 4.6.
Two events: 12 toys and 500 Stellar Jade
"Suppress the Glutton" unlocks 6 Toy Coupons and 500 Stellar Jade; "Interstellar Pet Park" gives 6 more Toy Coupons on login. Together that's 12 coupons.
Outfits can wait: the discount has a timer
"Cloudside Warmth" is 1350 against 1680, and "Moon Awaits the Bloom" is 2680 against 3280. If you're not in a hurry you can wait, but the discount is time-boxed.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.6: three tests for Pearl
Pearl (Elation, Ice) comes from the "Pearls From the Azure Sea" character Warp. Three tests, and if one fails, don't pull.
Test one: are you short an Elation slot?
Short on it, she's worth considering. Already running a stable Elation unit, skip.
Test two: how big is the Ice gap?
Ice only needs covering if it's your weak side. If Ice is covered, skip.
Test three: can you afford the build?
Pulling a character you can't build is a wasted pull. Traces, Light Cone and relics all cost stamina, so price that in.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.6: when the new relic cavern is worth farming
4.6 adds "Corroded Cavern: Path of the Clever Actor", which drops two relic sets.
Look at both sets together
"Thespian of the Dreamlit Star" and "Heretic of the Devoured Forbidden Fruit" both come from this cavern. Decide which set you want before you start.
Don't rush it in week one
Spend week-one stamina on events and the sign-in line first. The cavern stays for the whole version.
Don't force it on low stamina
Stop when stamina runs dry. Relics are a long game; forcing them only drags your event progress behind.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.6: questions after you skip (FAQ)
Is Pearl worth pulling?
A: Yes if you're missing an Elation or Ice main DPS; no if your teams already full-star everything, in which case the free pulls are worth more.
How many pulls are the free 4.6 rewards worth?
A: About 13. Ten Star Rail Passes equal 1600 Stellar Jade, plus 500 from events is 2100, and 2100 ÷ 160 ≈ 13 pulls.
How many relic sets does the new cavern drop?
A: 2. "Corroded Cavern: Path of the Clever Actor" drops "Thespian of the Dreamlit Star" and "Heretic of the Devoured Forbidden Fruit".
How much do the outfit discounts save?
A: "Cloudside Warmth" saves 330 (1680 − 1350 = 330, about 19.6%), and "Moon Awaits the Bloom" saves 600 (3280 − 2680 = 600, about 18.3%).
What do I miss by skipping?
A: One limited Ice and Elation 5-star and two relic sets, neither of which is a time-exclusive strength gate, and both return later.

Scope note: Pull rates and multipliers are unpublished, so nothing here is estimated. Relic and character write-ups for this version live on gghubs.com's Honkai: Star Rail section.
Game Guides
- Palworld 1.0.5 in three tables: cakes, Work Suitability, and condensation versus technology
Just run your save against these three tables: for breeding read column one of the cake table, for your base read column three of the Work Suitability table, and start condensation at 48 Pals. You don't need to memorise any of it; pull the table up and read one row.
- Reverse: 1999 4.0 "Gate-Keeper": what I claimed first coming back, and what I nearly missed
I came back this week, and the first thing I did wasn't the story. It was claiming the five login rewards one by one. Then I noticed the limited sign-in gives 40 pulls over several days, and I'd skipped two of them. By the time I went back, the countdown was nearly done.
- Love and Deepspace 6.0 home: 20 player questions answered, and 6000 diamonds that expire
How much does the home system pay? Officially, "over 6000 diamonds". It isn't a lump sum. It's spread across cooking, handcrafts and tasks. Claim it in the wrong order and some of it expires.
- Genshin Impact 7.1 anniversary maths: the free 20 pulls, where both invitations land, and the real cost
If your archive is full, skip this one. If you only run the story and don't care about strength, skip it. Pearl is a limited 5-star, Elation and Ice, and the whole question is one thing: are you short an Elation slot? If yes, pull. If no, keep the free pulls.
- Wuthering Waves 3.7 Hsin build retrospective: I rolled substats first, burned two rounds of Echoes, and here's where the order went wrong
If your archive is full, skip this one. If you only run the story and don't care about strength, skip it. Pearl is a limited 5-star, Elation and Ice, and the whole question is one thing: are you short an Elation slot? If yes, pull. If no, keep the free pulls.
- Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Shiyu Defense room 3: a third DPS or a dedicated stun slot (two-column table + 3 tests)
Room 3 comes down to two numbers: is your stun unit at level 50 or above, and do you have 2 people who can break shields. Pass both and you take route A. Fail either and you take B. If you fail both, fix your investment before you walk in.
- Arknights "Yesterday's Sea" week-one timeline: 24 hours before launch to day 7, one move per day
Applicable version: as of the 2026-10-03 update (Arknights has no version numbers, so dates from the official site are the anchor; this piece was written 2026-10-05) 24 hours before launch, do one thing: stop spending sanity and bank all 240 points for the event. Everything else on this list is optional. Skip this one and you'll be a full round of materials short.
- Palworld v1.0.5 Boss and Tower Guide: Jetragon Tech Change, Base Defense and the World Tree Route
Palworld's endgame combat splits into three tiers: tower bosses, field bosses and the World Tree main line. v1.0.5 itself only fixed a texture-resolution loading issue, so what actually changes your approach is v1.0.3 lowering Jetragon's technology unlock from level 79 to 70, plus the 1.0 launch raising the player level cap from 65 to 80. Pushing towers first, then field bosses, then the World Tree saves the most time.
