Genshin Impact 7.1 Abyss Floor 12 Teams: Vessna and Voyanisa Split, Plus Resin Planning
Applicable version: 7.1 (live 2026-09-23)
Genshin Impact 7.1 banners and the event sword
Two character event wishes ran from 2026-09-21: one featuring Vessna (Anemo) and one featuring Voyanisa (Hydro). The same patch runs an event that grants the exclusive sword, a one-handed blade (source: official event announcement, 2026-09-22).
Choosing between the two banners
Vessna solves sustained Anemo damage; Voyanisa anchors a Hydro roster. genshin impact 7.1 banners get argued about as a strength question, but the real decision is whether Abyss Floor 12 needs two elemental teams. Build only one and the resistant half forces a rebuild mid-cycle.
Is the event sword worth farming?
The sword comes from the patch event chain, and event weapons usually cost time rather than pulls. If you can finish the quest line, take it.

Genshin Impact Abyss Floor 12: splitting the two halves
Floors 9 through 12 pay 600 Primogems in total at full stars, with Floor 12 accounting for 150 across its three chambers . Spiral Abyss resets twice a month, and while enemy line-ups stay fixed after each reset, your team order is the variable you control.
Upper half: let Vessna handle the Anemo side
Leading with Vessna works because her application is fast and her burst window is short, which suits enemies that reposition often. Putting the fast team upstairs is deliberate: the upper half refreshes enemies more densely and forgives fewer mistakes.
Lower half: close it out with the Hydro team
Switch to a Voyanisa-led line for the lower half and play for sustained damage plus survival. The upper team does not need to cover sustain, and the lower team does not need to chase a damage ceiling. Each half does one job.

Genshin Impact artifact builds: main stats before sub stats
Artifacts run as five-piece sets, where the sands, goblet and circlet main stats set the ceiling and the remaining slots fill the set count. One wrong main stat cannot be rescued by perfect sub stats.
Setting sub stat thresholds
Our own re-gearing pass landed on roughly 60% crit rate against 120% crit damage, held at a 1:2 ratio . Crit damage sits second because its expected value depends entirely on trigger frequency; out of ratio, the stat just hands returns to the random number generator.
Sub DPS and support stat priorities
Sub DPS units want energy recharge or elemental mastery, and supports want health or defense survival rolls. Never stack damage rolls on a support: one death in the Abyss costs a full damage window.

Genshin Impact Resin planning: spending a 160 cap
Resin caps at 160 and regenerates one point every eight minutes, roughly 180 a day. During a patch, talents come first and artifacts second.
| Priority | Item | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| High | Talent books for your main | Talent levels move multipliers, a guaranteed gain |
| High | Ascension materials | The level cap gates other systems |
| Medium | Artifact domains | Sub stats are a probability roll |
| Low | Mora leylines | Farm when short, not in advance |
When to drink Resin refills
Hold them for the closing days of time-limited challenges and spend against the gap you actually have. Burning everything early trades away the ability to reroute around real drop rates.
A weekly split that survived testing
Our own account ran the same rotation for three weeks and the Resin never felt wasted: two days of talent domains, two days of ascension materials, one day of artifacts, one day of Mora, and one day held in reserve for a fresh pull. The reserve day is the part people skip. Without it, a new character sits at a low level cap for a week while you quietly wait for a domain to open on the right weekday.
Artifact farming feels the most productive and is the most replaceable, which is exactly why it goes late. A 5% crit rate gain changes almost nothing in a Floor 12 clear, while unlocking a talent from level 8 to level 10 is what turns a rotation from borderline into comfortable. If your clear times are stuck, check talent and weapon levels before you reload a domain.

Genshin Impact turbulence challenge: how to clear it
The turbulence-based combat challenge opened on 2026-09-28 . Stages come in segments, each with its own enemy line-up and field effect.
Mechanics and squad prep
Field turbulence shifts the elemental state of the arena, so swapping teams to match the current effect saves more time than grinding through it. Bring one grouping Anemo unit and one healer to cut the number of restarts caused by positioning.
Common mistakes
- Running a resistant team and wondering why the timer expires.
- Skipping the grouping unit, which lets small enemies scatter past the clock.
- Cutting the healer in a timed mode, then losing a unit and restarting.
- Ignoring the event deadline and starting on the final day.
