Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Pearl Build Guide: Elation Team Sustain, Relics and Speed Tuning
Applicable version: 4.6 "Before the Moon Rises, Dance With Beasts" (live 2026-09-28)
Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Pearl overview: why she is not a DPS
The easiest thing to get wrong: a limited five-star is not automatically a carry.
Pearl's role is sustain, not damage
Pearl is the Elation path's dedicated sustain, covering healing, shielding and cleansing while handing allies action advance and extra turns . Her damage barely touches the team's ceiling, so community rankings such as Honkai Star Rail best teams only tell you which tier she sits in.
Release date and banner
Version 4.6 went live on 28 September 2026 . For Honkai Star Rail 4.6 banners, the first half runs the limited five-stars Pearl and Feiying, Pearl's banner lasts the whole version, and the second half reruns Blade .

Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Pearl kit: every heal and shield scales on DEF
One line explains the build: healing and shielding both resolve from DEF.
Healing, shielding and cleansing all use DEF
Pearl's healing and shielding both scale from DEF . DEF substats are real value, and the usual HP-stacking healer habit does not apply here. Exact multipliers are not published outside the client, so treat skill numbers as subject to official announcement.
The ultimate is the team's pace switch
Her ultimate applies the team-wide damage-taken increase and advances an ally's turn, which is why a two-turn ultimate pays off most. Do not hold it. She also keeps feeding Good Show tokens, which a carry can spend once the resource overflows .
Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Pearl light cones and relics
The cone only has to add DEF and close the energy loop; the relics are a two-way choice.
What the signature "Colors Offered to Tomorrow" gives
The signature raises the wearer's DEF by 48 percent; when the wearer uses an Elation skill on the whole team, the team recovers HP equal to 10 percent of Pearl's DEF, and enemies take 10 percent more damage, plus another 4 percent per Elation-path character on the team With three Elation allies that reaches 22 percent, and the cone also restores flat energy.
When the substitutes work
Without the signature, "When She Decided to See" supplies speed and energy with stacking bonuses and only lacks a DEF line; among four-stars, "Mushy Shroomy's Adventures" raises Elation by 12 percent .
Eagle of Twilight Line or the new 4.6 set
Eagle of Twilight Line advances the wearer 25 percent after the ultimate . Its Wind bonus does little for Pearl, and I default to it because a stable loop decides a fight more than a few points of damage. The new 4.6 Elation set gives 6 percent speed on two pieces and 16 percent Elation to a targeted ally on four .

Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Pearl speed tuning
Get the speed wrong and every other choice is discounted.
The two community thresholds
Community speed guides put Eagle of Twilight Line plus Vonwacq at 162 speed, and the new Elation set plus Vonwacq at 187 speed The thresholds differ because the new set carries 6 percent speed on its own. Opinion on this is still split , so verify against your own in-game testing.
Speed, DEF and energy regeneration, in order
The order is speed, then DEF, then energy regeneration . For the planar set, Sprightly Vonwacq advances the opening action by 40 percent, paired with a DEF orb and an energy rope . The signature cone restores energy, so a funded build needs no extra energy rolls.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Pearl materials and investment plan
Farm to the listed gaps rather than draining stamina into one stage.
Ascension and trace materials
Ascension costs 308,000 credits, 15 Childlike Crayon, 15 Dream Dipping Steel, 15 Dream Manifest Cone and 65 Siren Fin; traces cost 3,000,000 credits, 18 Fluffy No. Storyboard Drafts, 69 Fluffy No. Serial Commemorative Issues, 139 Fluffy No. Collector's Edition Omnibuses, 12 False Awakened One's Expectations and 8 Tracks of Destiny . The two credit lines total roughly 3.31 million.
Investment priority
| Priority | Investment | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Get the character | The Elation archetype is missing exactly this slot |
| 2 | Speed and DEF in place | Speed drives the rotation, DEF drives healing and shielding |
| 3 | Four-piece Eagle of Twilight Line | Usable even on weak rolls, and it starts the loop |
| 4 | Signature light cone | A comfort upgrade if you have the budget |
| 5 | Eidolons | Last, and only after reading the 4.7 preview |

Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Pearl teams and gameplay
There are three practical set-ups, depending on who you already own.
The standard Elation line-up
The standard line-up is Silver Wolf Lv.999, Yaoguang, the Elation Trailblazer and Pearl, with Pearl taking Huohuo's slot . She handles survival and resource supply, and uses her ultimate to unlock extra turns.
Mixed and early-account teams
With one Elation carry built, Pearl drops back to pure survival, or can run beside a second sustain for tolerance; GameHub guides cover the rest of the 4.6 patch. Her buff triggers on targeting an ally, so the order in which you feed carries and supports decides how much of it lands .
Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Pearl FAQ
What stat does Pearl scale from?
A:DEF. Both her healing and her shielding resolve from DEF, so DEF substats are real value .
Should Pearl use the Eagle set or the new 4.6 set?
A:Eagle of Twilight Line four-piece by default, advancing her 25 percent after the ultimate; a dedicated Elation team can switch to the new 4.6 Elation set .
How much does the signature light cone add?
A:DEF plus 48 percent, a team heal equal to 10 percent of Pearl's DEF, and 10 percent more enemy damage taken, plus 4 percent per Elation ally, reaching 22 percent with three allies .
Pearl build action checklist
- Confirm your account actually lacks an Elation sustain before pulling.
- Build in order: level and traces, then speed boots and substats, then DEF substats.
- Start with Eagle of Twilight Line and move to the new 4.6 Elation set only in a dedicated team.
- Tune speed until the ultimate lands every two turns before chasing anything else.
- Farm trace materials by the listed deficit instead of draining one calyx.
