It was praised by critics as one of the greatest games ever made and sold over 20 million copies worldwide.

  Dave the Diver is an adventure management game developed and published by MINTROCKET, a studio under Nexon, released in full on 28 June 2023. Players take on the role of Dave, a diver who explores the ever-changing Blue Hole by day, catching fish and gathering ingredients, and runs a sushi restaurant by night with the help of his team. The game blends deep-sea exploration, fishing, restaurant management and a quirky mystery storyline about an ancient sea people. It earned critical acclaim and multiple awards for its charming art style and genre-blending gameplay.

  Vampire Survivors

  Vampire Survivors is a roguelike auto-shooter developed and published by poncle, released in full on 20 October 2022 after an Early Access launch. Players choose a character and are attacked by waves of monsters that grow ever larger while the game plays out automatically, with movement being the only control. By collecting experience gems, defeating enemies and opening treasure chests, players unlock new weapons and passive upgrades that combine into powerful evolutions. Its deceptively simple loop and low price made it one of the most acclaimed and influential indie hits of its era.

  Elden Ring

  Elden Ring is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, released worldwide on 25 February 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, with the worldbuilding and mythology provided by American fantasy author George R. R. Martin. The game is set in the Lands Between, a realm once ruled by Queen Marika and her divine offspring; after the Elden Ring was shattered, the land fell into decay and its inhabitants were left without order. Players control a customisable Tarnished — an exile who has regained the guidance of Grace — on a quest to repair the Elden Ring and rise as the new Elden Lord. Its design pairs a vast, freely explorable open world of sweeping fields, underground depths and treacherous dungeons with punishing boss encounters that reward careful reading of enemy patterns and patient build-crafting. In Elden Ring, players venture across vast open landscapes and delve into sprawling underground dungeons to uncover the unknown, brave formidable perils at every turn, and experience an ensemble drama woven from the conflicting interests and stakes of its rich cast of characters. Since launch the game has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide and received the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. On 28 August 2026 the Tarnished Edition launched on Nintendo Switch 2, bundling the 2022 base game, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, new armour sets and customisation options for Torrent's appearance; the additional content is also sold separately on other platforms as the Tarnished Pack DLC.

  Palworld

  Palworld is a multiplayer open-world survival crafting game developed and published by the Japanese studio Pocketpair. It entered Early Access on 19 January 2024 for Windows via Steam and the Microsoft Store, plus Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, arriving day one on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. Set on the Palpagos Islands, the game blends creature collection, third-person shooter combat, base management and factory automation. Players capture Pals using spheres, then deploy them in combat, put them to work farming and crafting, or automate production lines inside their bases. Multiplayer supports up to 32 players. The launch was one of the most striking in recent PC history: Palworld sold one million copies within its first eight hours and reached 2,101,867 concurrent players on Steam — the second-highest figure the platform has ever recorded. Palworld rose to viral fame for its delightful contrast between adorable Pals working for players and gun-toting adventures. Boasting freeform gameplay and a laid-back pace, it is a smash-hit survival title that blends casual enjoyment with strategic depth. It came to PlayStation 5 on 24 September 2024 and macOS on 4 March 2025. Palworld left Early Access on 10 July 2026 with version 1.100.427, which Pocketpair calls the biggest update in the game's history: 72 new Pals for a total of 287, the Sunreach floating sky islands, the World Tree main-story endgame region, a level cap raised from 65 to 80, new Awakening and Mutation systems, and a wide rework of combat, bases, quests and balance. The 1.0 update was free for existing owners, and the price has remained $29.99 throughout.

  Counter-Strike 2

  Counter-Strike 2 is a free-to-play competitive first-person shooter developed and published by Valve, released on 27 September 2023 as a free upgrade that directly replaced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Steam. It is not a separate sequel sitting alongside the older title — CS2 took CS:GO's place, so players cannot return to the previous version, though their existing inventory and items carried over into the new client. Counter-Strike 2 carries forward the classic counter-terrorist versus terrorist gameplay, featuring modes including Competitive, Casual and Deathmatch, and built with the Dynamic Smoke System and Sub-Tick architecture. The game runs on the Source 2 engine, which Valve describes as the largest technical leap forward in Counter-Strike's history, and its maps were rebuilt from the ground up on the new technology. The headline competitive addition is Premier mode: an Active Duty pick-and-ban ruleset that produces a visible CS Rating, which determines a player's standing on global and regional leaderboards. Premier matches can be played solo or queued with friends, so players can climb the ranking together. Alongside Premier, the familiar competitive and casual playlists remain, keeping the series' signature 5v5 bomb-defusal format — terrorists attempting to plant and detonate a bomb while counter-terrorists try to stop them — at the centre of the experience. Valve earns revenue through in-game items and accessories rather than charging for the game itself, and the title continues to receive regular updates and map rotations.

  Fortnite

  Fortnite is an online multiplayer title developed by Epic Games that blends third-person shooter action with building mechanics. It features both PvP and PvE modes, and boasts a global player base of over 200 million. It started life as Fortnite: Save the World, a player-versus-environment base-building title that entered early access on 25 July 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The mode that turned Fortnite into a global phenomenon, however, was Fortnite Battle Royale, which Epic made free for everyone on 26 September 2017 across PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Mac. Battle Royale drops 100 players onto a single map from the battle bus, combining intense PvP combat with destructible environments and the series' signature building mechanics; the last player or squad standing wins. Epic has committed never to sell items that grant a competitive advantage, monetising through cosmetic outfits and battle passes instead, and the game evolves through regular seasonal updates. Beyond Battle Royale, the Fortnite ecosystem now hosts more than 345,000 games built by third-party developers using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), spanning genres from racing and deathruns to horror and tycoon games. On 19 March 2026, Fortnite returned to Google Play worldwide, launching alongside the Fortnite Showdown Battle Royale season; it is also available through the Epic Games Store on Android devices worldwide and on iOS devices in the European Union.

  アークナイツ

  アークナイツ（Arknights）は、Hypergryphが開発し、中国本土では2019年5月に、海外ではYostarにより2020年1月に配信されたストラテジー・タワーディフェンスRPGです。中国発のモバイルガチャストラテジーというジャンルを代表するタイトルの一つであり、リリースから数年を経てもなお、デザインの基準として広く参照され続けています。物語の舞台は架空の世界「テラ」。オリパシーと呼ばれる災厄が社会を変えてしまった世界で、プレイヤーは製薬会社「ロドス・アイランド」の中核メンバーとして、致死性の感染症とそれが生む混乱の双方と戦いながら、リーダーであるアーミヤとともにオペレーターを採用・育成していきます。 ゲームプレイの革新性は、タワーディフェンス型の戦闘モデルにあります。オペレーターをグリッド上に配置し、近接/遠距離、地上/高台の配置制限と、コスト蓄積システムが防衛ラインを築く速度を左右します。各オペレーターは8つの職分（クラス）のいずれかに属し、固有のスキルと特性を持ちます。ステージ設計は、敵の進軍ルート、コストカーブ、スキルのタイミングを巡る計画性を重視しています。公式説明では「多種多様な職分にわたる数百名のユニークなオペレーター」、負担の少ないステージ向けの自動指揮（オートデプロイ）システム、そして自分だけの拠点を築ける基地建設システムが強調されています。 ビジュアルは意図的に抑制の効いたインダストリアルなデザイン言語でまとめられ、異例なほど高い音楽制作水準——Hypergryphはプロの音楽チームと組み、ライブコンサートも開催——と、有名日本人声優陣が揃っています。ゲームはリリース以来継続的に更新されており、2026年9月29日には公式サイトでメンテナンス更新告知が、期間限定イベント「ベクターブレークスルー#3：疑似生態」とともに公開されました。 9月12日に開始したサイドストーリー「民は民、これは民」は、イベントステージ、関連ストーリー、限定オペレーターのスカウト（ピックアップ）ガチャ、イベント報酬のみを追加するゲーム内バージョンイベントで、メインクライアントのバージョンは36.7.22のまま変更ありません。
