Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Drive Disc Guide: Armorer Scaling and Stats

Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Overview: What Actually Changed

Drive discs are ZZZ's gear system, and slots 4, 5 and 6 still carry most of the power, exactly as before. What is new is two agents whose damage no longer travels through the usual stat path.

The Armorer specialty and two new mechanics

3.2 introduces Armorer, a specialty built around attacking and defending at the same time, along with two mechanics that did not exist in the game before: Maim and multi-CRIT. The first Armorer is S-Rank Electric agent Claret, head of Flint Workshop, in the first half. The second half brings Roxy, an S-Rank Wind Stun agent whose kit revolves around Eyes of the Storm: grouping and detonating tornadoes with her EX Special and Ultimate.

Reruns and login rewards

Nangong Yu reruns in phase one and Promeia in phase two, both with their exclusive W-Engines. Logging in during the version pays out a cumulative 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons. A special program redemption code, FLINTWORKS, was handed out at the stream; whether it still works is worth checking in-game rather than trusting a news post.

One caveat worth stating plainly: the official ZZZ site is a JavaScript-rendered single-page app, so announcement text cannot be pulled directly with curl. Everything here travels the "official program content relayed by media" path, and I have labelled the numbers accordingly.

Zenless Zone Zero Drive Disc Framework: 4-Piece Plus 2-Piece

Lock the general rules first, because the new vocabulary makes it easy to build backwards.

Set structure

The default build is a 4-piece core set plus a 2-piece elemental set. The core set supplies the agent's mechanical payoff; the elemental set fills in damage type . Crit-rate sets such as Woodpecker Electro see heavy use as a 2-piece bridge piece during the mid-game because they provide a flat crit-rate floor.

Slot 4, 5 and 6 main stats

Slot Possible main stats Common pick
1/2/3 Fixed No choice
4 Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Anomaly Proficiency, ATK Crit for damage dealers, Anomaly Proficiency for anomaly agents
5 Elemental DMG Bonus, PEN Ratio, ATK Elemental DMG bonus first
6 Impact, Energy Regen, Anomaly Mastery, ATK Impact for stunners, Energy Regen for supports

This table is a community guide site's summary of the current version, not official published rates. Treat it as build advice, not a rulebook.

One settlement detail people miss

According to a community mechanics write-up, the 4-piece set's percentage ATK bonus does not appear on the agent's stat panel, and in combat it multiplies against pre-combat total ATK rather than base ATK. W-Engine percentage ATK effects behave the same way. That detail can flip a build decision if you are choosing between ATK and elemental damage on a tight budget.

Zenless Zone Zero Armorer Build: Claret Stat Choices

Claret is the first-half S-Rank Electric Armorer and the head of the Flint family. She builds Gash on enemies through her attacks, and community write-ups say her damage scales from DEF.

Why slot 4 should be Crit DMG

If DEF-based scaling holds, ATK main stats stop participating in her core multipliers, and their marginal value drops hard. That pushes slot 4 toward Crit Rate or Crit DMG, balanced so the two land near a 1:2 ratio. This is a decision derived from the kit description, not a tested result, so treat it as a hypothesis to verify once she is live in your account.

Slot 5 and 6 trade-offs

Take Electric DMG Bonus on slot 5 and treat PEN Ratio as the fallback. On slot 6, pick between Anomaly Mastery, Energy Regen and ATK based on whether your rotation starves for energy. A team that swaps constantly should fix energy first: a broken rotation wastes more damage than a higher ceiling.

Zenless Zone Zero Roxy and Rerun Builds

Roxy's full kit has not been published. Skill multipliers, exclusive W-Engine effects and banner order were not in the program, so anything specific would be invented rather than reported.

Stun agent defaults

Roxy is a Wind Stun agent, so slot 6 leans Impact and slot 4 leans Crit Rate or Crit DMG, with the elemental set covering Wind DMG. Her mechanic groups and detonates tornadoes, which is a burst-window damage structure: energy and impact both pay off earlier than raw attack.

Are the reruns worth it

Nangong Yu and Promeia return with their exclusive W-Engines. If version 3.1's anniversary already drained your Monochromes, judge the reruns by which team function you are missing rather than by raw strength. That question is separate from the Armorer system entirely.

Zenless Zone Zero Drive Disc Farming Priority

The classic mistake is farming discs before deciding who you are building. The correct order runs: pick the agent, then the 4-piece core set, then the 2-piece elemental set, then slots 4, 5 and 6, then team gaps.

A workable rotation

  1. Complete the 4-piece set effect on your main damage dealer. Do not chase substats yet.
  2. Lock correct main stats on slots 4 and 5, which contribute more than substats at this stage.
  3. Keep support and stun agents one enhancement tier lower and route the materials to your damage dealer.
  4. Hollow Zero is the primary source of high-grade discs; the disc stages exist for targeted set farming (source: Gachia drive disc guide).

When to stop

Once your main dealer has correct slot 4 and 5 main stats and a complete set effect, you are in diminishing returns. Moving that stamina into W-Engines and agent levels is a steadier gain than gambling on substat rolls.

Zenless Zone Zero FAQ

Q1: When did ZZZ 3.2 launch?
A: 9 September 2026. The version is "Their Secret Histories" and adds the Armorer specialty; Claret in the first half, Roxy in the second .

Q2: Crit Rate or Crit DMG on slot 4?
A: For damage dealers, tune the two toward a 1:2 ratio. Anomaly agents take Anomaly Proficiency. If the kit scales from DEF, skip ATK entirely.

Q3: How does the 4-piece disc ATK bonus settle?
A: Community mechanics notes say it is off-panel and multiplies against pre-combat total ATK, not base ATK. That is a community finding, not official published text.

Q4: Should I pull the 3.2 reruns?
A: Nangong Yu is phase one, Promeia is phase two, both with exclusive W-Engines. If 3.1's anniversary emptied your savings, fill team gaps instead of chasing strength.

Q5: Where do high-grade drive discs drop?
A: Hollow Zero is the main source. Use the disc stages for targeted set farming, and events occasionally hand out high-grade discs.

Zenless Zone Zero Action Checklist

  1. Pick the agent first, then decide which disc set to farm. Never the reverse.
  2. Secure the 4-piece set effect, then correct main stats, then substats.
  3. Build Claret around DEF-based scaling: crit on slot 4, Electric DMG on slot 5, energy or Anomaly Mastery on slot 6.
  4. Do not lock a Roxy build yet. Her multipliers and W-Engine are unreleased.
  5. Keep support and stun discs one tier of enhancement below your main dealer and spend the savings on W-Engines.
