Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Luoxi Guide: Wind Break Build, W-Engine and Team Comps
Applicable version: 3.2 "Her Secret Past" (live 2026-09-09; the official site is a JS-rendered SPA that cannot be scraped)
Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Luoxi overview: banner and role
Version 3.2 launched on 2026-09-09 and introduced the fifth combat specialty, Frontline, which turns defence into damage . The patch splits into two banner phases, with the second half swapping to the Wind Break Luoxi and a Cryo Anomaly Promia rerun .
Banner and dates
| Phase | Date | New agent | Rerun |
|---|---|---|---|
| First half | 2026-09-09 to 09-30 | Claret (Electric, Frontline) | Nanami (Ether, Break) |
| Second half | 2026-09-30 12:00 to 10-20 14:59 | Luoxi (Wind, Break) | Promia (Cryo, Anomaly) |
The second half has under two weeks left, so if you want both a Break unit and an Anomaly main DPS, look at your roster gaps first. For a wider comparison see our ZZZ tier list, and treat the ZZZ 3.2 banners schedule as in-game canon only.
Role
Luoxi is a Wind Break agent, written as the resident manager of the Flint workshop and a close friend of its head. In practice she is a quick-swap breaker who stacks daze quickly and adds a Wind Anomaly layer on the way .

Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Luoxi mechanics: where the value is
A Break unit's value is never the damage panel but how much daze is removed per second, and Luoxi does that cleanly .
Daze and Anomaly at once
Her combos push the daze bar and apply Wind Anomaly at the same time, so one input feeds two payoffs: the window goes to the main DPS and the Anomaly layer sets up team damage.
Do not build her as a DPS
Players who build her as a damage dealer end up disappointed. Her direct damage is roughly 10 to 20 percent of the team's output, with the rest generated indirectly through daze windows . The warning matters because a damage build shifts substats from Anomaly Proficiency to crit, weakening her core contribution.

Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Luoxi W-Engine and discs
| Slot | First choice | Second choice | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| W-Engine | Crimson Nocturne Coffin (Break) | Any high Anomaly Proficiency Break engine | Signature boosts break and daze efficiency |
| Discs 4-piece | Break four-piece | Generic daze damage set | Take the full Break bonus first |
| Discs 2-piece | ATK two-piece | Anomaly Proficiency two-piece | Covers base stats |
W-Engine priority
Crimson Nocturne Coffin is the Break engine released with this banner and directly improves breaking . The alternative is any Break engine with high Anomaly Proficiency; the gap is rotation speed, not per-hit numbers .
Main and sub stats
Order main stats as Anomaly Proficiency, ATK, then crit . Sub stat priority is Anomaly Proficiency, then ATK, then crit, then the rest; crit goes last because her contribution lives in the daze window rather than her own damage .

Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Luoxi team comps
| Team | Line-up | Roles | Substitutes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anomaly quick-swap | Luoxi, Anomaly main DPS, support | Luoxi stacks daze and Wind, main DPS cashes the window | Any generic damage support |
| Attack chain | Luoxi, Attack main DPS, buffer | Break window feeds the Attack carry's burst | Drops in wherever a Break slot is missing |
| Budget | Luoxi, four-star Anomaly, sustain | Covers base daze and Anomaly buildup | Good without a limited main DPS |
How the three comps split work
Anomaly teams take her Wind layer, Attack teams take her daze window, and both slot her as the second-in rotation so the main DPS fires inside the window . This holds up better than leaving her on field, since her field damage is low anyway .
Substitutes
Without a limited main DPS, any four-star Anomaly agent covers the loop and is enough for daily content . The support slot is the one you cannot cut, since losing it drops window efficiency noticeably .

Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Luoxi build and resource plan
| Priority | Item | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Skill levels | Break efficiency rises with skill level, the most direct gain |
| 2 | Anomaly Proficiency substats | Sets the break and Anomaly rhythm |
| 3 | Signature W-Engine | Only with budget; alternatives work |
| 4 | Shades | Each tier is a visible jump, buy up as budget allows |
Shades versus signature
Luoxi's Shade tiers differ noticeably, the kind where one more tier is felt immediately . With limited resources, take the Shade before the signature, since it touches both the break and Anomaly lines .
Stamina and Polychrome
The 3.2 login event Full Broadcast gives 10 Encrypted Master Tapes over 7 days and Uhh, Falling from the Sky gives 10 Boopons, both free and worth claiming. Put Polychrome into agent channels rather than stamina: the window closes with the banner . Line up other games against the guides section at gghubs.com.
