Patch 3.2 Her Hidden Past added Clara and Roxie as new S-rank Agents, brought back Nangong Yu and Promia, and shipped two new S-rank W-Engines. This guide prices the double-drop window, explains why only slot 4 and slot 5 main stats decide whether a disc set is usable, and settles the "should I top up to pity" question with the 90-pull and 180-pull numbers.
1
| Item | Verdict | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Double-drop window | Spend on ascension materials | Data Bounty notice dated 2026-10-12 |
| Drive discs | Lock slot 4 main stat first | Only slot 4 rolls crit main stats |
| W-Engines | Only if you have the signature | S-rank Crimson Hunger and Crimson Moon Silver Coffin |
| Pulls | Top up only within 30 of pity | 90-pull soft cap, 180 worst case |

Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 official content: new Agents and W-Engines
The official 3.2 notes list two new S-rank Agents, Clara (Electric, Bladebreaker) and Roxie (Wind, Stun), two returning S-rank Agents, Nangong Yu (Ether, Stun) and Promia (Ice, Anomaly), and five new W-Engines including S-rank Crimson Hunger and Crimson Moon Silver Coffin .
Bladebreaker is a new role tag
Patch 3.2 attaches the Bladebreaker tag to Clara, Roxie, and several W-Engines, which means team building is no longer a fixed three-part split of attacker, stun, and support. The practical test: if your team already has a main damage dealer that eats the chain meter, the Bladebreaker slot exists to fix rotation tempo, not to add raw damage.
Why the reruns matter more than they look
Nangong Yu and Promia restore two older routes, one built on stun and one on anomaly. For accounts missing a stun unit, a rerun banner is usually better value than a new-character banner, because the gap is a role, not a number.

Zenless Zone Zero Data Bounty: how to use the training room
The official notice dated October 12 states that during Data Bounty, entering the Combat Simulation room, picking any enemy card, and clearing the challenge grants double rewards .
Who gets the double drops
Give them to characters stuck on an ascension breakpoint. Going from level 50 to 60 costs several rounds of materials, and doubling the output halves the number of runs. Newly pulled S-rank Agents come second, because their material needs have no existing stockpile to draw on.
It is not a universal multiplier
Data Bounty doubles the simulation room's own output, not every activity. Do not treat it as a coupon that doubles drive disc or W-Engine stages; those drop tables are independent .

Zenless Zone Zero drive discs: main stats first, sub-stats later
Zenless Zone Zero drive discs use six slots and trigger bonuses at four pieces plus two pieces . Slot decides the main stat: slot 4 rolls crit rate or crit damage, slot 5 rolls elemental damage bonus, slot 6 rolls anomaly proficiency or energy regen. So "finishing" a set starts with slots 4 and 5, not with sub-stat hunting.
Where to stop on sub-stats
Crit rate 60 percent and crit damage 120 percent is the working line for most attackers. Past that, every 10 percent crit damage is roughly a 3 to 5 percent total damage gain . While battery is still funding ascension, stop at the line.
Can one set be shared?
Yes. Set bonuses bind to the wearer, not the team, so a four-piece set can rotate between two main damage dealers as long as both want the same main stats. That is exactly why main stats come first: a correct main stat makes the disc reusable.

Zenless Zone Zero W-Engine choice: signature versus substitutes
The S-rank W-Engines Crimson Hunger and Crimson Moon Silver Coffin cover Bladebreaker and Stun respectively. W-Engine value is in the passive, not the attack panel: a character that lives on the chain meter wants energy or chain damage, not flat attack.
When a substitute works
A-rank Blood Marrow Box and Lucky Cat's Head are both Bladebreaker options, and B-rank Moon Phase String is a stopgap . A substitute is usable only when its main stat matches and its passive actually triggers; if the passive needs an anomaly to fire and your team has no anomaly slot, the weapon is a blank.
W-Engine pity is separate
W-Engine banners do not share pity with Agent banners, and S-rank W-Engines are guaranteed at 80 pulls . Pulling the weapon is a second budget line, not a continuation of the character budget.
Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 resource requirements
Pricing one new S-rank Agent to a usable state takes ascension material rounds, skill material rounds, six drive disc slots, and a W-Engine with its own ascension line .
| Item | Scale | Conversion |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | 240 per day from regen | The double window saves about half a day |
| Drive discs | 6 slots, 4 plus 2 sets | One wrong main stat wastes the set |
| W-Engine | 1 weapon plus ascension mats | Separate banner, 80-pull guarantee |
| Pulls | 90 soft cap, 180 worst case | Roughly 160 Polychrome per pull |
A week that actually fits
Monday to Wednesday on ascension materials while the double window is live, Thursday to Friday on drive disc main stats, weekend on skill materials. The order matters because main stats are random and need retries, while material counts are fixed and can be planned exactly.

Zenless Zone Zero 3.2: pull or skip
Verdict first: pull the rerun if you lack a stun unit; pull Clara only if you intend to build the new Bladebreaker core. If both are missing, the rerun wins, because a missing role hurts more than a missing number .
Three account types
New accounts under eight Agents: take the rerun. Nangong Yu solves both the stun slot and the Ether team start. Mid-game accounts with two finished teams: check whether the double window can actually finish the new materials, because pulling an Agent you cannot build is a net loss. Veterans clearing endgame: skip unless you want the character, since 3.2 adds no mandatory mechanic.
How close to pity is close enough
At 60 or more pulls banked with under ten days left, top up to the 90-pull guarantee. Under 20 pulls banked, wait for the next banner. Check the counter on the banner screen, since carry-over rules are what actually decide this.

Zenless Zone Zero FAQ
When does the Data Bounty double reward end?
A: The official notice only says "during the event" and gives an opening date of 2026-10-12. Check the in-game event panel for the closing time .
Which drive disc slot should I farm first?
A: Slot 4 and slot 5, because crit and elemental damage main stats only roll there; one wrong piece out of six wastes the whole set.
Does Clara need her signature W-Engine?
A: No. Crimson Hunger is the ceiling, but A-rank Blood Marrow Box and Lucky Cat's Head are also Bladebreaker weapons and work as transitions when their passives trigger .
Does the 90-pull guarantee carry between banners?
A: Treat the counter shown on the banner screen as authoritative; carry-over behavior differs by banner type .
Should I farm drive discs during the double window?
A: No. The bonus applies to the Combat Simulation room only, so battery is better spent on materials .
Zenless Zone Zero October action list
- Open the event panel and confirm the remaining Data Bounty time.
- Push your main damage dealer's ascension materials one tier with double drops.
- Lock slot 4 and slot 5 main stats; stop sub-stat hunting at 60 crit rate and 120 crit damage.
- Budget the W-Engine banner separately from the Agent banner.
- Check the pity counter before topping up: 60 or more pulls banked is the threshold.
