the forced update ran on November 1 from 06:00 to 12:00 and paid 5 Originite Prime, claimable within 7 days. The limited headhunt "Jiangxue Touhuo" runs from November 1, 12:00 to November 18, 03:59 and features Talulah as the limited operator. At 300 total pulls you get one extra Talulah on top of whatever you pulled, not instead of it (source: official Jiangxue Touhuo limited headhunt notice, 2026-10-24).
Applicable version: 2.7.91 (updated 2026-11-01; Arknights has no public version numbering, so the official announcement date is the anchor)

What the November 1 update changed
This was a forced update. After maintenance you must download the client again, and the old version cannot log in (source: official November 1 maintenance notice, 2026-10-30). The window was 06:00 to 12:00, and the notice warns that opening can be early or late.
Maintenance and compensation
Compensation is 5 Originite Prime within 7 days of maintenance ending (source: same notice). It does not roll over, so claim it on day one rather than at the weekend.
System upgrade and the certificate store
The patch notes mention the Rhodes Island system upgrade and an update to the certificate store, with details pushed to the in-game notice (source: same). The practical effect for veterans: the certificate exchange structure changes, so if you have been hoarding certificates, look at what is actually on offer before spending.
PC screenshot and voice lines
PC gets a screenshot function, and several operators received English, Korean and Russian voice lines (source: same). Separately, the standard headhunt refreshes on November 5, 04:00, and the Advanced Certificate store lists Viviana and Shenlü that same day (source: same).
Jiangxue Touhuo: how the Talulah banner actually works
Jiangxue Touhuo is a limited headhunt in the Celebration series, open November 1, 12:00 to November 18, 03:59. Six-star rate is 2%. After 50 pulls without a six-star, the next pull goes to 4%, then 6%, and so on up by 2% until it is guaranteed at 100% (source: official headhunt notice).
The 300-pull gift is not a pity system
Read the wording carefully: at 300 cumulative pulls you receive one additional limited operator Talulah, once only, and that gift does not produce contracts or affect the next six-star's probability (source: official notice). So it is not "300 pulls guarantees Talulah". It is "300 pulls and you get one free on top". Your earlier six-stars still count normally.
Who has the five-times weight
Three limited operators, Lappland the Decadenza, SilverAsh the Reignfrost and Exusiai the New Covenant, sit at five times weight in this banner, while other individual six-stars except Talulah and Donghe are reduced accordingly (source: official notice). If you are hunting those reruns, this is the window.
What to do with Donghe and Olga
The new operators Donghe and Olga join the limited headhunt and also enter the permanent standard pool after November 5, 04:00 (source: official notice). There is no reason to force them here. Wait for the standard pool.
Yellow certificates: the November 5 window
From November 5, 04:00, the Advanced Certificate section of the store offers Viviana and Shenlü (source: official November 1 update notice). In the same period, the contract exchange lowers Silence the Paradigmatic's cost from 300 to 200 (source: official headhunt notice).
Do the certificate math first
Advanced Certificate exchanges have historically run around 180 certificates per six-star (community figure, not an official number). Two operators means roughly 360 certificates, which most players do not accumulate in a month. Pick one or skip.
The certificate store changes too
The certificate store is being adjusted alongside the system upgrade (source: official maintenance notice), so check the in-game list. Certificate-type resources lose value when rules change, so spend when the offer fits.
Is Jiangxue Touhuo worth pulling?
Verdict: pull if your limited roster is thin
The value here is concentrated in Talulah plus the three five-times-weight reruns. If your account lacks limited operators, these 17 days are the window. If your problem is simply clearing normal stages, a limited banner will not fix it. Levels and modules will.
If you already own Talulah
The marginal gain is potentials and rerun limiteds. Potentials change very little in most content, certainly less than a new operator would.
New and returning accounts
New accounts should look at the standard pool after November 5 and use yellow certificates on an operator who can actually fight. Pulling a limited unit you cannot afford to build helps nobody.
How much does this banner actually cost
One pull is 600 Orundum, so 300 pulls is 180,000 Orundum. One Originite Prime converts to 180 Orundum (in-game economy, a stable long-running conversion). Weekly Annihilation plus dailies and weeklies comes to roughly 3,000–5,000 Orundum per week by community estimates, which means 300 pulls is nine months or more of saving. That alone tells you the 300-pull gift is a whale bonus, not a safety net.
A realistic budget
Most players can commit 30 to 60 pulls here. With a 2% base rate and the ramp after 50 pulls, the odds of seeing some six-star inside 60 pulls are decent. Whether it is Talulah is another matter, because there is no targeted pity.
Where to save
Claim the 5 Originite Prime first, then clear this week's Annihilation. Do not convert Orundum into headhunting permits early. Permits expire; Orundum does not.
Where is the fastest place to farm module materials?
Module materials come from the certificate store and event shops, and this update added a batch of operator records, paradox simulations, exclusive modules and special modules (source: official November 1 update notice). Daily module farming is capped by sanity: with a 135 sanity cap and one point per 6 minutes, natural regeneration is about 240 sanity a day before monthly card and base bonuses (check in-game values).
Priority order
Do the modules that change how a stage is solved first, then the pure stat ones. Paradox simulations pay Orundum and materials, so they are free value you should not skip.
Do not burn Originite on sanity
You can convert Originite into sanity to rush modules, but for most accounts that is a bad trade. Originite is better spent on pulls or skins.
FAQ
When does the 5 Originite Prime expire?
A: Claim within 7 days of maintenance ending. It does not come back, so grab it on November 1.
Is the 300-pull mark a pity?
A: No. The official notice says 300 cumulative pulls grant one extra Talulah, once, without contracts and without affecting the next six-star's rate.
Should I pull Donghe and Olga now?
A: No. Both enter the permanent standard pool on November 5 at 04:00, so waiting is cheaper.
How many six-stars can yellow certs buy?
A: Around 180 certificates each by community estimates, so Viviana plus Shenlü is roughly 360, more than most players save in a month.
Do I have to reinstall the client?
A: Yes. This was a forced update, the old version cannot log in, and PC updates through the Hypergryph launcher.
Action list for this week
- Launch day: claim 5 Originite Prime and confirm it landed.
- November 5, 04:00: check the Advanced Certificate store and count your certificates before choosing Viviana or Shenlü.
- Limited banner: if you want the limited units, pull before November 18, 03:59, not on the last hour.
- Modules: unlock the ones that change stage solutions, and clear paradox simulations for Orundum.
- Standard pool: wait until November 5 for Donghe and Olga.
