All Five Lines Share One Deadline — First, Confirm You Can Get In
Start with the gate. The celebration requires clearing main story stage 1ST.01, “Bad Seed”. If you’re on a new account still stuck earlier in the story, push the main line first — the celebration page only opens after that. It isn’t hard, but it’s a hard requirement: no door, no rewards, however big they are.
All five lines also take their bow in the same second. Rondo Night, the Opening Gift, Where Light Rests and Iridescence Among the Stars all end at 04:59 on November 5 — no exceptions, no grace period. So don’t agonize over which one expires first. They expire together, and you get exactly one shot at clearing them.
While we’re here, let’s settle the version number — this is the fastest way to start a cross-server argument. The CN official site lists version 4.0.0, updated 2026.09.24; the overseas App Store still shows 3.8. The two aren’t in sync. When you write a guide, go by your own server: 4.0.0 for CN, and whatever the local store says for global. The gap gets ignored all the time in Reverse: 1999 character tier lists, where each side argues from a different version without realizing it.

Rondo Night: How to Collect All 16 Plectrums, and Which One to Open First
Gate cleared — now the first line, and the most valuable one of the patch.
Collecting them is simple: 5 Philharmonic Plectrums on your first login, then 1 per day after that, up to 16 free. Five plus eleven is exactly sixteen, which means you only reach the cap by logging in every single day since the event opened. Miss a day and your total is 16 minus the days you skipped — and skipped days don’t come back.
Each plectrum pulls back the curtain on a random reward, including the Wonder Invitation (invites a random 6-star character you don’t own to visit), Boxed Friendship · Inspiration of a True Friend (choose a specific Reverie 6-star to visit), Souvenir of the Journey (choose a specific 5-star to visit), Single Tune · Navigator of the Unswerving ×5, Single Tune · Fire of Existence ×5, plus Mythic Cocoon ×1, Taotie ×1, Resonance Crystal Coffer ×1 and 500 Clear Drops.
So which one first? Open the Wonder Invitation. It’s a guaranteed new 6-star — the highest-value item on the list and the only door among the five lines that guarantees a new 6-star. Order matters here, so check which slot your roster is missing before you choose. If you already own every available 6-star, the Invitation’s value drops off sharply; don’t force it — take the pick-your-own Reverie 6-star instead.

The Opening Gift and Iridescence Among the Stars: Free on Login, and the Easiest to Forget
Stibnite’s “Fortissimo” outfit and the “Clear Night and Phantom Day” building. Rondo Night · Opening Gift runs from 05:00 on October 3 to 04:59 on November 5. Log in after the event opens and you can claim Stibnite’s themed outfit “Fortissimo” and the commemorative building “Clear Night and Phantom Day”. No accumulation, no quests, no prerequisites — one login before 04:59 on November 5 is all it takes. If you haven’t been online in a while, start here; it’s the least effort for the most return.
The 390 Pure Drop voucher — don’t buy an outfit just to use it. Iridescence Among the Stars runs from 10:00 on September 24 to 04:59 on November 5. Log in to claim an exclusive discount voucher for the “Sleepless Utopia” outfit line: 390 Pure Drops off at checkout, and it stacks with the Ready-to-Wear Order Voucher. The 390 is a genuine discount, but only if you were going to buy from that line anyway. Buying an outfit you don’t need just to burn the voucher saves you 390 and costs you more than that. The rule fits in one line: buy it if you were buying it, take the discount on the way out.
Those two are things you do in passing. The last one takes actual work.

Where Light Rests: You Have to Do the Quests, and the Draws Expire With the Patch
Where Light Rests is the only one of the five that costs you time, running from 05:00 on October 1 to 04:59 on November 5. Complete quests, trade them in for Refracted Forms, and spend those on draws. The pool holds the “Flickering Night” kaleidoscope collectible, the commemorative building “Mud, Bye-Bye”, and progression materials.
The trouble is that the quest load is spread across days, so cramming it all into the final four days is rough. The call you can make right now: open the page, count the Refracted Forms in your bag, and spend every draw you can afford. Draws don’t carry over into the next patch — hoarding them is the same as wasting them.

Add All Five Lines Together: What This Celebration Actually Pays
Straight into your inventory: 500 Clear Drops, 5 of each Single Tune (10 cards across the two), Mythic Cocoon ×1, Taotie ×1 and Resonance Crystal Coffer ×1. No extra conditions — log in and open your plectrums and they’re yours.
Indirect gains: the guaranteed-new 6-star Wonder Invitation, a pick-your-own Reverie 6-star, and a pick-your-own 5-star — one each. Priced in pull value, those three are worth more than the Clear Drops, but every one of them comes with a restriction like “you can only choose a character you don’t already own”, so the real return depends on your account. Don’t stare at the numbers; look at what you’re missing.
How it relates to pulling: celebration rewards cost no pull currency, so they’re pure gain. That’s also why Reverse: 1999 character tier lists lose some of their reference value during a celebration — one extra guaranteed-new 6-star can rewrite your team’s optimal answer outright. Rank lists are a reference only; which slot you’re missing is something only you know.
That line at the top about “how many times you’ve logged in this month” matters a lot less by now. The celebration hasn’t bolted the door: come back once in the last four days and most of it is still there. What decides your losses isn’t how many days you already missed — it’s whether you show up over the next few.

Reverse: 1999 FAQ
Can I get more than 16 Philharmonic Plectrums?
A: 16 is the free cap — 5 on your first login, then 1 per day. Days you skip can’t be recovered, so log in once a day from now until 04:59 on November 5.
Do all five lines really end at 04:59 on November 5?
A: Yes. Rondo Night, the Opening Gift, Where Light Rests and Iridescence Among the Stars all close at 04:59 on November 5 — the celebration wraps up as one.
Why are the CN and global version numbers different?
A: The CN official site lists 4.0.0 (updated 2026.09.24), while the overseas App Store shows 3.8. The two release schedules aren’t in sync, so tag your guide with whichever server you actually play on.

We checked the dates and rewards of all five lines against the official announcement, one by one. Anything about 4.1 comes from the official preview; we don’t write up what hasn’t been published.
