Genshin Impact Version 7.2 "When Ruin Begins" went live on 2026-11-04 at 06:00 and opened two character banners at once: Mitya (Electro) on "Ten Thousand Sequences" and Furina (Hydro) on "Hymn of Many Waters". Both close 2026/11/24 17:59, and both share the same four-star pool: Valerie, Charlotte and Rosaria (source: official wish notice). This piece covers Furina only.
Applicable version: 7.2 "When Ruin Begins" (launched 2026-11-04)

Banner position and deadline
Write the dates down before you decide anything.
Window and four-stars
Furina's banner opens with the 7.2 update and closes 2026/11/24 17:59 (source: official wish notice). It is Character Event Wish-2, with Valerie (new four-star, Electro sword), Charlotte (Cryo) and Rosaria (Cryo) boosted.
Shared pity
Character Event Wish and Wish-2 share pity completely and accumulate together (source: official wish notice). Practically: pulls you put into Mitya's banner count toward Furina's.
How much pity costs
Five-star hard pity is 90 pulls, guaranteed is 180 (source: official wish rules). At 160 Primogems per pull, a guarantee is 28,800 Primogems. That number decides whether you act now.

How Furina works: HP swings become team damage
Her value is not her own damage. It is converting team HP changes into a damage bonus.
Where the buff comes from
Her burst accumulates Fanfare based on HP changes across the party, then converts that into a team damage bonus and incoming healing bonus (source: in-game character description). So someone in the team has to keep changing HP — either healing or self-draining.
Why a healer is mandatory
This is not "bring any healer", it is "bring a healer whose output keeps up with the drain". Her skill drains party HP continuously; if healing lags, Fanfare stalls and the buff shrinks.
Why HP and not attack
Her scaling chain is HP cap, then skill and buff, then team damage. Attack percent barely enters that chain. An attack-stacked Furina has a nice panel and a buff that does not move.

Artifacts: four-piece Golden Troupe
Golden Troupe is the default answer unless you are using her somewhere unusual.
Set values
Two-piece: skill damage plus 20 percent. Four-piece: another 25 percent skill damage, plus 25 percent more while off-field (source: in-game artifact description). Furina spends most of her time off-field, so the four-piece is fully utilized.
Main stats
HP percent on sands, HP percent on goblet, crit rate or crit damage on circlet. Two of three being HP is deliberate: her buff ceiling hangs directly off HP.
Substats and energy
HP percent, then crit rate equals crit damage, then energy recharge. Stop stacking ER once her burst comes up on schedule — her loop is sustained skill uptime, not burst spam.

Weapons: signature and two substitutes
Splendor of Tranquil Waters
Crit damage secondary, passive built around HP cap raising skill damage (source: in-game weapon description). It is the only five-star sword that gives HP and skill damage together. If you get it, stop thinking.
Four-star options
Use any sword with HP percent or crit as the secondary. One test only: the secondary must be HP or crit, and the passive must not be an attack buff.
Refinement
Refinement scales the skill-damage multiplier; R1 to R5 is roughly a 10 percent gap (community estimate, tier-3). Unless you are a heavy spender, leave refinement alone and spend on characters.

Teams: three shells and where she fits
Her flexibility comes from not needing specific partners, which is also how she ends up in teams that cannot use her.
With Neuvillette
Neuvillette drains his own HP, so Fanfare fills, and one healer closes the loop. The most forgiving shell available.
With Wriothesley
Wriothesley stays on-field in melee while Furina buffs from off-field; the team needs a healer who can keep pace. Ceiling depends entirely on that healer.
As a generic amplifier
Any team with a healer and a damage need can slot her. Test: can someone restore the party within 20 seconds? If not, leave her out.

Primogem plan for 7.2
| Item | Amount | Source tier |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per pull | 160 Primogems | Official rules (tier 1) |
| Hard pity | 90 pulls = 14,400 | Same |
| Guaranteed | 180 pulls = 28,800 | Same |
| Obtainable per version (estimate) | about 8,000-10,000 | Community tracking (tier 3) |
One version of income does not cover a guarantee. So the rule: you may test inside soft pity, but past 90 pulls without her, decide deliberately whether you are committing to a guarantee.
Where do I farm her ascension materials fastest?
Her regional specialty spawns around Fontaine waterways; ascension bosses and weekly materials come from Fontaine content. Exact spots and counts should be read in the in-game ascension screen — 7.2 moved some collection points, so do not copy an old map.
Verdict: pull or skip
One line: pull if you do not have her, skip if you do.
New account, no Furina: pull. She is the most portable amplifier in the game and serves three different shells.
Already own Furina: skip. Duplicates only buy constellations, and the return is far below a new character.
Only enough for one banner: decide by need. Missing an Electro main DPS, take Mitya. Missing a generic amplifier, take Furina. Missing both, take Furina — she has fewer substitutes.
FAQ
Does Furina need her signature?
No. The signature raises skill damage and HP cap; the four-star gap is around 15 percent by community estimates. Character first.
Is Golden Troupe mandatory?
In almost every case, yes. The four-piece reaches 70 percent skill damage off-field, which other sets cannot match.
How many constellations does she need?
C0 is playable, C1 raises the buff ceiling, C2 is a step change but not required. On a budget, stay at C0.
Furina or Mitya?
Electro main DPS, Mitya. Generic amplifier, Furina. The banners share pity, so pulling one does not waste progress on the other.
Action list
- Check whether you own Furina. If yes, skip this banner entirely.
- If no, farm Golden Troupe before pulling — do not pull into an empty artifact slot.
- Put a healer in the team who can keep up with the drain.
- Cap your test at 90 pulls, then reassess.
- Finish wishing before November 24, 17:59.
Build sheets and material lists get revised per version on GameHub's guide section (gghubs.com); 7.2's Snezhnaya additions will be folded in as they unlock.
