Fione: what an Anomaly agent actually needs
Fione is an S-rank agent with the Fire attribute and the Anomaly role (source: official 3.3 update notes, 2026-11-05). Anomaly damage comes from attribute buildup, not raw multipliers, so her stat priorities look nothing like an Attack agent's.
The stats that matter
Rough order: Anomaly Proficiency, then Anomaly Mastery, then ATK%, then crit. Proficiency scales the anomaly damage itself, Mastery speeds up buildup, and missing either one stalls the rotation. Crit does very little for Anomaly agents, so do not copy an Attack build.
Why not stack ATK
Because this is not a case of "more ATK is always better". Buildup speed sets the ceiling. ATK only feeds the direct-damage portion, which is a minority of an Anomaly agent's output. Loading everything into ATK is playing an Attack agent with an Anomaly kit.

Fione Drive Discs: four-piece and two-piece
Disc choice works on two levels: the four-piece sets the direction, the two-piece patches stats. For an Anomaly agent, pick a four-piece that pushes Anomaly Mastery or Anomaly Proficiency, and a two-piece that adds ATK% or Fire DMG (community convention; set names and new sets should be checked on the in-game Disc screen since each version adds more).
Main stat layout
Slot 4 wants Anomaly Proficiency, slot 5 wants Fire DMG or ATK%, slot 6 wants Anomaly Mastery. The logic is simple: feed the three slots to proficiency, elemental damage and mastery respectively so all three lines climb together. Otherwise you end up with fast buildup and weak procs.
Substats
Substats in order: Anomaly Proficiency, ATK%, Anomaly Mastery, crit. When upgrading, prioritise pieces that already roll Proficiency; a piece with a slightly worse main stat is still worth levelling if the substats are right.

Nirvana Feather: is the signature worth it
Nirvana Feather is the new S-rank Anomaly W-Engine in 3.3 (source: official 3.3 notes). The same patch adds "Cage of Sin" for Attack agents, which is Severian's, so do not pull the wrong banner.
What only the signature gives
Signature Anomaly engines usually win on base stats plus anomaly-relevant substats, which four-star options cannot fully replace. That said, if you already own a high-refinement Anomaly engine, the upgrade shrinks noticeably.
Pull order
Character first, engine second. The limited agent channel has a 90-pull guarantee with rates rising from pull 75, and the W-Engine channel guarantees at 80 (in-game channel rules). If you can only afford one guarantee, take Fione.

Collecting every free pull in 3.3
The freebies are spelled out: the "Brand New Broadcast" login event gives 10 Encrypted Master Tapes over seven days, and the "Boopons From Above" login event gives 10 Boopon vouchers over seven days (source: official 3.3 update notes). Both are pure login rewards.
What ten pulls are worth
Ten Encrypted Master Tapes is ten limited pulls, and ten Boopon vouchers cover the Boopon channel. At 160 Polychrome per pull, those ten pulls are worth 1,600 Polychrome in equivalent value. Skipping them throws away a ten-pull.
The other events
3.3 also runs "Spooky House Horror", "Cyber Miracle Doctor, On Call!", "The Limping Crow Mystery", "Restore the Drifting Art Book" and "Maze Domain: Bizarre Trial" (source: official 3.3 notes). Their rewards are listed in the in-game notice, so do not stare only at login rewards.
Where do I farm Fione's ascension materials fastest?
Agent ascension materials come from the corresponding "Combat Simulation" stage, which costs Battery. Battery caps at 240 and regenerates one point every 6 minutes, so natural regen is about 240 a day, or four to six runs (check in-game values).
Spending the daily cap
Put the first 60% of the day's Battery into ascension materials and the rest into Drive Discs. The launch week is the tightest, so cap your Battery the day before the banner opens and you get two extra runs on day one.
Do not buy Battery with Polychrome
Converting Polychrome into Battery is an emergency lever. Long term it means trading pull currency for stamina, which is a terrible rate. Wait for the daily regen.
Is Fione worth pulling?
Verdict: yes if you lack a Fire Anomaly unit
Fione fills the Fire Anomaly slot. If your account has no workable Fire Anomaly agent, she is a direct upgrade. If you already run a finished Fire team, her marginal value is novelty, not power, and she will not change whether you clear Shiyu Defense.
The November 11 second half
The second half opens November 11 (secondary calendar; confirm in-game). If a rerun you want is in the second half, keep Polychrome in reserve instead of spending everything on November 5.
Saving for 3.4
The 3.4 preview is November 20 and the version is expected in December (HoYoverse has not announced the exact date or banner lineup). If 3.4 interests you, take only the free ten pulls here and leave Polychrome alone.
November Polychrome math at 160 per pull
One limited pull is 160 Polychrome, so a 90-pull guarantee is 14,400 Polychrome, and an 80-pull W-Engine guarantee is 12,800 (in-game channel rules). A typical version hands out 20 to 30 free pulls by community estimates, roughly 3,200 to 4,800 Polychrome.
Budgets by account type
Free-to-play: take the ten login pulls plus event rewards and bank the rest for 3.4. Monthly card: you can reach around 40 pulls, half a guarantee. Signature hunters: character plus engine guarantees need 26,000+ Polychrome, so plan the split.
Where to save
Do not buy Polychrome packs to "round up". Daily, weekly and event income is the real source, and pack rates usually lose to the monthly card.
