Honkai: Star Rail 4.7 at a Glance: Aha the Aeon Arrives on November 11
On November 11, 2026, 4.7 "Now, Laugh the Stars Away" goes live, and the limited 5-star "Aha the Aeon" enters the banner alongside his Light Cone, "When the First 'Aha' Rings Out".
The version title alone already writes half of any Star Rail team recommendations article. In the preview stream, the developers made the relationship between "Trailblaze" and "Elation" the landing point of the main story — two threads that have run this long and are finally about to converge in one place. How that convergence plays out, you'll have to see in-game.
The same day also brings the animated short "A Merry Funeral Beneath the Moon". It isn't a standalone PV: it ships as part of the Trailblaze Mission, placed at the mission's epilogue. Which means you'll run straight into it while clearing the main story — no separate hunting required.
There's also something very easy to overlook: finishing the Trailblaze Mission grants a special Light Cone, "Let's Meet at the End of the World". It's free. Don't get so fixated on the banners that you walk right past it.
On the periphery, the "Arbitration of Anomalies" shop restocks in 4.7 with several new Trailblaze outfits and decorations; the official notice went out on October 30 at 20:55. None of it adds combat power — buy what appeals to you, skip the rest. You lose nothing.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.7 Banners: Four Lines in Phase 1, Three Old Faces in Phase 2
The banners split into two phases, with reruns packed in tightly. The table first:
| Phase | Character | Light Cone |
|---|---|---|
| Launch | Aha the Aeon (limited 5-star) | When the First 'Aha' Rings Out |
| Phase 1 reruns | Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparkle, Yao Guang | Welcome to the Galactic City, A Dazzling World of Flowers, When She Chose to See |
| Phase 2 reruns | Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Jing Yuan | Along the Passing Shore, Brighter Than the Sun, Before Dawn |
Phase 1 or Phase 2: Where Should Your Tickets Go?
Phase 1's value doesn't rest on Aha alone. Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparkle and Yao Guang each belong to a different archetype, and counting the new arrival Aha, that's four separate chances to plug a hole in a single phase. If you're missing a core system, this half clearly beats Phase 2 on value per pull. Conversely, if all three of those lines are already built, Phase 1 means nothing to you beyond Aha himself — in which case ask yourself first: do you actually need him, or do you simply not want to miss out?
Phase 2 brings Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan. All three fall into the same category: their archetypes matured long ago and their kits still hold up today, but newer units have been quietly closing the multiplier gap. So whether to pull comes down to one very concrete question — are you missing what their kits do, or are you missing a "strongest of the patch" label? If your Acheron has no ultimate loop to speak of, she's worth filling in. If you just want the tier list to look better, the return is probably worse than waiting for a new character.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.7 Relics: Two New Sets, and One Free Pickup
4.7 adds two new Relic sets: "Aeon's Fleeting Joy" and "Subspace Sanctuary". The names sound cryptic, but in practice they're just two new stat directions; who should wear them is best settled by launch-day testing.
But more than the new sets, what's worth discussing is the return of "Qiku Relic Hunt". Join the event, and regular play lets you pick any one Relic set, fully upgraded to max level.
Why Qiku Relic Hunt Is More Tangible Than Pulling
"Pick any set, upgraded to max" skips both the farming and the upgrading in one move. For accounts that have farmed for two months and are forever one substat roll short, that is worth far more than a single ten-pull. So don't get the order wrong: work out which set your main DPS needs first, then go into the event and choose — and whatever you do, don't burn your upgrade materials beforehand, or the set you pick won't reach max either.
4.7 also runs two double-drop events, "Dimensional Split" and "Brimming Relic Realm". The former covers Planar Ornaments, the latter Relic Caverns; the exact rates and limits follow the in-game event page. How should you split your Trailblaze Power? Missing Ornaments, farm the first; missing sets, farm the second; missing both, top up your main DPS's set first.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.7 Currency Wars Season 2: Voyage Into the Painting, Starting From Zero
Currency Wars Season 2 is titled "Voyage Into the Painting", and the official word is "fully rebuilt": new seasonal mechanics "Chance Encounter" and "Protagonist Aura", a completely overhauled bond system, and additional bonds such as "Phantasm Moon Game", "Thousand-Star Guild" and "High-Cloud Quintet".
Those two words, "fully rebuilt", sting a little for anyone with Season 1 experience. The comps you memorized the hard way may well stop existing on day one.
Aglaea at 5 Cost: The Experience That Doesn't Carry Over
The stream confirmed that Aglaea rises to a 5-cost unit in Season 2. Up goes the cost, up goes the power ceiling — and up goes the difficulty of coming online. Season 1's "cheap fast start, snowball by mid-game" playbook has to be recalculated for Season 2.
So is all that Season 1 experience worthless? Not quite. Bonds get rewritten, so comp-copying will definitely fail during the first few days — but what genuinely transfers is tempo: when to level, when to bank gold for interest, when to cut a line without hesitating. Those fundamentals don't change with the bonds. So in the opening days, don't rush to find the "patch answer"; feel the bonds out yourself first. It's worth more than copying ten comps.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Wrap-Up: 11 Days, Two Things Not to Miss
Back to the present. 4.6 is still running, and both of these are still there for the taking.
Double Drops and the Survey: Both Free
The limited-time Calyx double drop in the "Blossoms in Abundance" event opened on October 29, 2026 at 11:00. The Calyx here drops Trace materials, and during the double window your daily Trailblaze Power is better spent there than on Relic farming — Trace materials aren't random: whatever you put in, you get out.
The 4.6 satisfaction survey also went live on October 30, 2026 at 12:00. Fill it in and the reward is yours — zero cost. Don't groan at the chore; it's a few minutes of your time.
Eleven days is neither long nor short, but it's enough to collect everything you're owed. Back to that question at the top: are your tickets enough to cover both sides? 4.7 has really answered it for you. It isn't pushing you to pull; it's simply laying the choice out more clearly. Want to fill a gap? Take Phase 1. Want to save? Save in peace. The people who truly lose out were never the ones who didn't get the character — they're the ones who neither saved nor worked out who they wanted.
