Arknights best teams start with her: Talulah is worth raising to Elite 2 if your account lacks a lane-holding Arts defender or the core slot of a Burn-damage team. She is a 6-star Guard of the new Origin Guard branch, blocks two enemies, deals Arts damage with Burn buildup, and her third skill rains "Ember Clusters" down the rows she faces.
| Item | Verdict | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Pull | Pull if you lack an Arts lane holder | She takes 70% of the 6-star rate; banner opens Nov 1, 12:00 |
| Build | E2, then S3, then S2 | S3 is the main clearing tool and clusters follow her facing |
| Team | Front-line lane + Caster + healer | S2 heals on being hit; heavy waves still need an external healer |
| Budget | 300 pulls = 180,000 Orundum | 600 Orundum per pull, 15 free pulls during the event |
Arknights 7.5 Anniversary snapshot: what the banner actually contains
Applicable version: as of 2026-10-28 official announcements (no version numbering system)
Three dates matter. October 24 is when the anniversary Part 1 information dropped and the Frozen Soil and Embers web event opened, running October 24, 20:00 to November 24, 03:59 . November 1 at 12:00 is when Snow Into Fire opens. November 5 at 04:00 is when the new operators Freeze River and Olga enter the permanent standard banner.
Who is on the banner
Snow Into Fire is a Limited Headhunting - Celebration banner. Talulah (limited) and Freeze River together take 70% of the 6-star rate. SilverAsh the Unbound, New Covenant Exusiai and Wasteland Lappland get a 5x weight boost inside the remaining 30%. The 5-star Olga takes 50% of the 5-star rate .
The 300-pull gift is not a guarantee
Reaching 300 pulls on this banner grants one extra copy of limited Talulah, once only. That copy does not produce Headhunting Data Contracts and does not affect the pity count toward your next 6-star. The same rule now applies to future Spring Festival, Celebration and Summer limited banners.
The distinction matters for budgeting. "300 pulls guarantees Talulah" is false. "300 pulls gives you a free copy on top of whatever you pulled" is correct.
Arknights Talulah mechanics: Burn buildup and footprints
Talulah's damage comes in two layers. She deals Arts damage and stacks Burn damage on enemies. When an enemy's Burn gauge bursts, her second talent leaves a "footprint" at that position which ticks Arts damage based on her ATK, with a cap on how many footprints can exist at once.
Talent 1: Unyielding
Attacks deal Arts damage and apply Burn buildup. After she stops attacking for a period, her Arts and Elemental damage gradually increase up to a cap, and decay with each attack once she resumes.
This inverts the usual Guard rhythm. She is not a continuous auto-attacker. She wants windows where she holds fire, then dumps damage. That is why her first skill matters more for tempo than for raw numbers.
Talent 2: I Am the Flame
When any enemy on the field has a Burn burst, a footprint appears at their position, persisting for a time and dealing periodic Arts damage proportional to Talulah's ATK. There is a cap on simultaneous footprints.
Practical reading: her ATK stat feeds both her own hits and the footprints. The more enemies she blocks and the more often Burn bursts, the denser the footprint coverage. Against extremely dense waves the cap kicks in, so do not expect her alone to clear a hundred-unit rush.
Arknights Talulah skills: which to master first
Each skill answers a different question. Mixing them up is the most common mistake.
Skill 1 - Pale Night Illumination
Deals Arts damage proportional to ATK to all ground enemies on the target tile and inflicts Fear for several seconds . Fear displaces enemies, which can push them out of the block line and break a push.
Use it when the stage needs tempo control rather than damage. Mastery value is low unless you are running stages that demand precise Fear timing.
Skill 2 - Severed Sudden Snow
Triggers on being attacked and holds charges. On trigger she gains Shelter that decays, deals area Arts damage proportional to ATK to the attacker, and heals herself by a share of the damage dealt. For several seconds afterward she attacks all blocked enemies and gains ATK and DEF, stacking up to a cap.
This is her survivability engine and the reason she can replace a lane Arts defender. The catch is that it only fires when she is hit. Against ranged pressure or enemies that walk past her, the skill sits unused.
Skill 3 - Corona Inferno
Raises ATK, stops normal attacks, and channels the field. Periodically summons Ember Clusters across several rows in her facing direction. Clusters explode on contact for area Arts damage, or Elemental damage if the target is mid-Burn-burst. In overload the spawn interval shortens and the area widens. Enemies hit by multiple clusters in one wave take reduced damage from subsequent ones. The skill can be cancelled manually at any time.
Facing direction decides everything. Stand her the wrong way and the skill does nothing.
Mastery order: S3, then S2, then S1
S3 is her primary clearing tool, so mastery directly scales the cluster damage and coverage. S2 sets her survival ceiling. S1 only earns mastery if you specifically need Fear control.
Arknights Talulah team shells: three ways to field her

| Shell | Operators | Core idea | Positioning |
|---|---|---|---|
| Burn lane | Talulah + fast-attacking Caster + group healer + slow support | Caster stacks Burn fast to trigger footprints and Elemental damage | Talulah holds the main lane facing the enemy path |
| Solo hold | Talulah + Defender + single-target healer | S2 heals and reflects while she tanks one lane | Talulah forward, Defender as backup, save S2 charges for the heavy wave |
| Tempo control | Talulah + Fear/Stun operators + ranged DPS | S1 pushes enemies back into the corridor | Talulah at the chokepoint, S1 on enemy clumps |
The fork between these is whether you want damage or lane integrity. The first shell chases damage, the second chases survival, the third chases tempo.
Two hard constraints
First, facing. Ember Clusters travel the way she faces. She must look at the incoming enemies.
Second, healing match. Her S2 self-heal scales with damage dealt, and her Shelter decays, so heavy waves still need an external healer.
Arknights Talulah resource budget: the pull math
Arknights charges 600 Orundum per pull, so 300 pulls equals 180,000 Orundum . The banner grants one free daily pull, and November 1 through November 15 is 15 days, worth 15 pulls.
That puts the self-funded requirement for the 300-pull gift at roughly 285 pulls, or about 171,000 Orundum. If you only want to gamble on the rate, cap your budget near 100 pulls and keep the rest for Freeze River, who becomes permanent on November 5.
On the upgrade side, I am not going to invent material counts. Elite 2 and mastery costs should be read from the in-game promotion preview, because the official announcement only covers operators and banner rules, and Arknights adjusts material sets between operators.
A cheaper order
Elite 2 first, then S3 mastery. Her identity is sustained lane damage, and S3 without mastery feels weak. That feeling is a mastery gap, not a stat problem.
Arknights Talulah: should you pull?
Verdict: pull if you lack an Arts lane holder or are building a Burn/Elemental core. Skip if you only need burst damage.
First account type - no established Arts defender. Pull. She covers blocking, Arts damage and self-sustain in one slot.
Second - established Burn team missing its core. Pull first. Her footprints are the interface that plugs her into an existing Burn lineup.
Third - DPS is already overflowing. Skip. Her ceiling is not burst; S3 lays a field rather than nuking a screen. Save the 300-pull budget for the next Spring Festival limited.
Arknights Talulah common mistakes

- Facing the wrong way. Clusters follow her facing; backwards equals a dead skill.
- Treating S2 as an active heal. It needs incoming attacks.
- Ignoring the hold-fire rhythm. Talent 1 rewards not attacking, so constant auto-attacks waste the ramp.
- Expecting footprints to clear ultra-dense waves. There is a cap.
- Forgetting overload's diminishing returns. Multiple clusters on one enemy in a wave deal reduced damage each time.
Where do you farm Burn buildup fastest?
Burn is a combat gauge, not a drop. There is nothing to farm. What you farm is uptime: fast-attacking Casters, group Arts DPS and her own S1 all stack it. There is no daily cap; it is settled by fight duration.
Arknights Talulah FAQ
Should I go to 300 pulls for the free copy?
A: 300 pulls equals 180,000 Orundum at 600 per pull, minus 15 free daily pulls during the event, leaving about 285 self-funded pulls. If you only want the collection entry, stopping under 200 is safer.
Talulah or Freeze River?
A: They share 70% of the 6-star rate, so the numbers alone do not separate them. Take Talulah for Arts lane holding, Freeze River for utility. Freeze River enters the permanent pool on November 5 at 04:00; Talulah is limited and will not rerun on standard.
How many materials does Elite 2 need?
A: The official announcement does not list material counts; check the in-game promotion preview. Six-star Elite 2 shares LMD with mastery, so budget at least 180,000 LMD before starting.
Can she work without a Caster?
A: Yes, but Burn stacks slower. Her S3 clusters still deal Arts damage and apply Burn, so she functions solo, clearing roughly half as fast as with a Caster feeding the gauge.
Can she replace an Arts defender?
A: She replaces the lane-holding plus Arts-damage role, not pure utility defenders. She blocks two, heals and reflects on hit, but brings no hard control or damage-reduction aura.
Action list
- Before November 1 at 12:00, lock your Orundum budget at 180,000 if you want the 300-pull gift.
- Pull on day one until you hit the rate or the floor, then decide on topping up.
- After acquiring her, go Elite 2, then S3 mastery, then S2. Do not start with S1.
- Check her facing every deployment. Clusters travel where she looks.
- Watch for Freeze River and Olga entering the permanent pool on November 5 at 04:00. Banner windows follow server time. For more Arknights operator breakdowns and stage clears, see the guide hub at gghubs.com.
