This Arknights beginner guide 2026-angled piece splits the first half of November into three dates: the November 1 client update that added five operator records, four paradox simulations and seven exclusive modules, the November 5 standard banner and gold certificate shop refresh, and the November 6 crossover deadline. It also answers the question every new player asks in Arknights best teams threads: should gold certificates be saved or spent.
Arknights November 6 Deadline: Crossover Skins and Two Bundles
Applicable version: as of the 2026-11-01 update (the game has no version numbering; the official announcement date is the anchor)
Three crossover skins end November 6 at 03:59
The National Library crossover skins are "The source is distant and the stream long" for Shu, "Candlelight on a Night Journey" for ZHUHUANG and "The Sign of a Prosperous Era" for Linnea, listed from 16:00 on October 16 and delisted at 03:59 on November 6 (source: official Arknights crossover notice, 2026-10-11). The trap is that these cannot be bought with an outfit selection voucher, and the notice says so in plain text. Plenty of players find out only after opening the shop.
Skins come first because they are the only item here that disappears for good. Records and modules are permanent content; they will still be there next week.
Buy one bundle, not two
The "Well-read" bundle contains 800 Orundum plus three avatars (Traversing Mountains and Seas at Night, Yongle's Chang'an, Exploring Origins and Unveiling Secrets.) and also ends at 03:59 on November 6 (source: official crossover notice, 2026-10-11). The other one, "Da Huang Qinghe", ships the Da Huang interface theme and the Qing Rong scene, and this rerun does not carry the first-release discount.
Take Well-read first: 800 Orundum is roughly a pull and a third, while avatars are cosmetic. Buy Da Huang Qinghe only if you care about the theme.
Rerun skins have a longer window
Three rerun skins run until 03:59 on November 21: The Path of Radiance for Vina Victoria, Mourning for the Demon King, and Disordered humility for Wasteland Lap-… (source: official crossover notice, 2026-10-11). Do not crowd these into the November 6 rush.
Arknights November 5 Gold Certificates: Viviana and Shenlü
The 180-certificate price tag
The gold certificate shop refreshes at 04:00 on November 5, and the two six-stars on offer are Viviana and Shenlü (source: official maintenance notice, 2026-10-30). A six-star costs 180 certificates and a five-star 45 (source: in-game certificate shop).
180 is not small change. It is the by-product of about 18 ten-pulls. A monthly-card player doing 30 pulls a month needs three to four months to save it, which is why "who" matters more than "whether".
Choose by hole in your roster, not by rarity
Here is the correction worth making: it is not "you lack a six-star, so buy one", it is "you lack this slot, so buy one". Kit details belong to the in-game operator page; the only decision rule is whether some slot in your team is permanently held by a four-star you would rather replace.
If you have that hole, buy. If you do not, wait. Certificates never expire.
Where certificates come from
Gold certificates come mainly from duplicate operator conversion, scaled by rarity (source: in-game certificate shop notes). Their supply is tied to how much you pull, so do not plan around them as an independent currency.
Arknights November 1 Update: Five Records and Four Paradox Simulations
Records and their order
The client update ran from 06:00 to 12:00 on November 1 as a forced update. It added five operator records: Nation, Midnight, Jia Xinta, Measurement and PhonoR-0 (source: official maintenance notice, 2026-10-30). Records are story only and give no combat power, so order them by "operators you actually built". Jia Xinta has both a record and a paradox simulation, which makes her the cheapest single stop.
Paradox simulations pay on first clear
The new paradox simulations are for Suguang Xingyuan, Xue Lie, Jia Xinta, and Cai Du (source: same notice). Each pays Orundum on first clear, with the exact amount listed on the in-game stage screen. They use a fixed lineup built around the featured operator, cost no sanity, and work as a mechanics refresher.
Seven exclusive modules, one limited
Seven exclusive modules have arrived: Mu'er Sisi (third), Su Guang Xing Yuan (second), Lin Yu Yin Hui, Song Tong, Jing Jiang, Guo Du, and A Er Jia, plus one limited module for Hao Jiao (source: official maintenance notice, 2026-10-30).
Modules consume a three-item set: data supplements, data patches and module data blocks. When several land at once, build the one whose operator you field daily rather than following the gift order.
How Long Does It Take to Bank 180 Certificates
What one ten-pull returns
Duplicate conversion depends on roster depth: new accounts convert little, old accounts convert a lot. Community tracking puts the average at 8 to 12 gold certificates per ten-pull, higher for veteran rosters (source: community tracking, not an official figure, useful only as an order of magnitude). That means 180 certificates is roughly 15 to 22 ten-pulls.
What a free player banks in a month
Free pulls come from dailies, weeklies, Annihilation and first clears. At 25 to 30 pulls a month, that converts to about 25 to 35 gold certificates (source: community tracking, not an official figure). A free player therefore needs five months or more for one six-star, and knowing that number up front prevents bad decisions.

| 3 | One six-star from the certificate shop | Opens 04:00 Nov 5 | 180 certificates |
| 4 | Four paradox simulations | Permanent | 0 sanity |

| 6 | Three rerun skins | 2026-11-21 03:59 | Vouchers or Originite |
Where sanity goes
There is no major event in the first half of November, so sanity goes to module materials and Annihilation. If you build only one module, stack sanity on that operator's chip stage instead of spreading it thin.
Where Orundum goes
Do not empty your Orundum this fortnight. Another standard banner lands after November 5, and holding 20 pulls as a cushion beats spending to zero.
Arknights FAQ
Can I use an outfit voucher on the crossover skins?
A: No. The official notice states the crossover skins cannot be exchanged with an outfit selection voucher, so you pay with vouchers or Originite (source: official crossover notice, 2026-10-11).
Who is in the shop on November 5?
A: Viviana and Shenlü, both six-stars, at 180 gold certificates each; five-stars cost 45 (source: official maintenance notice, 2026-10-30).
Do paradox simulations expire?
A: No, they are permanent, cost no sanity, and pay Orundum on first clear, so they can wait until your certificates and skins are settled.
Do records include battles?
A: Operator records are story content without standard combat stages, which is why they sit below skins and modules in priority.
Arknights Action List
- Check the shop and close out the three crossover skins before 03:59 on November 6.
- Buy Well-read if you can spare the price: 800 Orundum is more than one pull.
- After 04:00 on November 5, open the certificate shop and buy only if you have a real hole.
- Clear the four paradox simulations in spare time; they cost zero sanity.
- Build modules by field usage, starting with Miao Er Si's third or Lin Yu Yin Hui's.
