ZZZ 3.3 calendar: map the eight event windows first
The 3.3 events do not all open at once. Which two you cannot miss
Only two windows are pure resource doubling: Area Patrol and Combat Simulation. The first feeds disk drives and Dennies, the second feeds agent upgrade materials. Five days each, and missing them means waiting a full version, so treat them as fixed points and slot story and login events around them.
Do not skip the login rewards
All-New Broadcast gives 10 Encrypted Master Tapes for seven cumulative login days, closing December 1 at 03:59. Bangboo From Above opens November 11 at 10:00 and gives 10 Bangboo Tickets for seven login days. Together that is 10 pulls plus 10 tickets for free, and the only requirement is logging in.
ZZZ 3.3 double windows: how to slot Area Patrol and Combat Simulation
During those five days each run is worth twice as much as usual. The difference is output: Area Patrol skews toward drives and Dennies, Combat Simulation toward ascension and skill materials.
Where to put your energy
If you only have one pool of energy across both windows, prioritize Combat Simulation, because agent progression is a hard gate while drives can be farmed slowly on normal days. If your three teams are already built and you only lack substats, Area Patrol is the better pick.
Why not to empty your Dennies early
The November 25 Combat Simulation window decides whether you save five days of farming on a new agent. Hold Dennies and film budget until then, especially if you just pulled Fione or Severian.
ZZZ 3.3 Bangboo Mech: melee against ranged
The Bangboo Mech is 3.3's new playable shell. You pilot it in the main story and while exploring Ningsi Isle, switching freely between melee and ranged shooting modes with different skills. The official notice also states that ranged mode gets aim assistance on controller and mobile.
When to switch to ranged

Using it while exploring
Ningsi Isle and the Airspace Control Tower are the two Restricted Zones added in 3.3, unlocked during chapter four of season three. When you meet packs of enemies while exploring, chip them at range and finish in melee rather than brawling.
ZZZ 3.3 film budget: should you buy the discounted outfits
Fione's two outfits, Disease Named Life and Fantasy Syndrome, sit at 1350 film during the version and return to 1680 after. The bundle Blank Reverie is 30% off at 2350. Severian's Immaculate Uniform arrives November 11 at 12:00, also starting at 1350.

Severian is the safer pull; Fione depends on your fire team. Severian is a Wind Attack agent, and Attack slots travel better across versions than Anomaly slots. Fione is Fire Anomaly, and her value depends heavily on whether your team can apply or spread fire reliably.
Trade-offs by account type
New accounts should take Severian, since an Attack agent pushes both story and Shiyu Defense. Mid-game accounts that already have a Wind DPS can skip and bank film for the next version. End-game accounts chasing trust and story can treat this as a cosmetic-only decision.
