Put simply, Suoming is an Electro Sword main DPS. Add one Electro damage amplifier and one healer to the team, and build Echoes as 4-3-3-1-1 for double crit. Cycle 41 has two days left, so rebuilding your roster now is just asking for trouble. Why this setup, whether two and a half days is enough, and whether your Astrite should move at all: all covered below. Read it through and you can follow it straight, without digging through other threads.
3.7 Phase 2 runs from October 22 at 10:00 to November 11 at 11:59, and Suoming (Electro / Sword, signature weapon Chenming) is this phase's debut 5-star. Cycle 41 of the Tower opened October 12 at 04:00 and ends November 9 at 03:59, which leaves just enough time to clear all three floors. Wherever this guide touches the exact numbers of the current buff, the in-game buff for the cycle is the final word.

Wuthering Waves 3.7 Phase 2 Banners: Who Is in the Pool
Three 5-stars in 3.7 Phase 2: Luosela (Glacio), Suoming (Electro, debut) and Linnai (Spectro). The banner opens October 22 at 10:00 and closes November 11 at 11:59. The weapon banner runs Cunzhen (Rectifier), Chenming (Sword, debut) and Yicai Yinghui (Pistols); Chenming is also entering the pool for the first time.
Suoming wields a Sword and deals sustained damage through combos plus Resonance Liberation. Swords in Wuthering Waves skew mobile with short recovery frames. The upside is you rarely get interrupted; the downside is damage stacks in fragments, and the rhythm feels far choppier than the one-big-hit playstyle of a Broadblade. Break the sequence once and the feel collapses immediately. That is why the team wants someone who can cover a burst window; otherwise, against a high-HP enemy, you will plainly feel the damage leaking away.
The signature weapon Chenming debuts alongside him. Signature weapons have always been a direct upgrade for a main DPS in Wuthering Waves, but let us be honest about budgets: if you can only afford the character, take the character first; if you can afford character plus weapon, the weapon banner beats Resonance Chain copies. A weapon buys a guaranteed gain, while a dupe is paying to gamble on probability. Do not run those two accounts together.

Wuthering Waves Suoming Build: Which Echoes, Which Stats
Pulling him is only the beginning. Half of Suoming's power sits in the banner; the other half sits in your Echo set.
The Echo layout is 4-3-3-1-1: one COST4, two COST3 and two COST1, twelve points in total. There are only a few slots, so misplace one and the whole set goes back to the farm, and anyone who has re-farmed an Echo set knows how that tastes.
Main Stats: Get the Slot Wrong and You Start Over
Crit Rate or Crit DMG on COST4, Electro DMG Bonus on COST3, ATK% on COST1. Electro DMG Bonus only rolls on COST3, and that is a hard rule. Give that slot to something else and the only fix later is a full re-farm. Think about how many days it takes to turn an Echo set from drops into something wearable, and "I will just throw something on for now" stops sounding minor.
Sub-Stats: Get Crit Rate to 60 First
Priority order is Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK% and Energy Regen. An Electro main DPS already gets plenty of ATK from buffs, so stacking more ATK in sub-stats dilutes badly. Below 60% Crit Rate, no matter how high your Crit DMG climbs, you are only gambling.
There is one shortcut when upgrading: if an Echo rolls both crit stats as sub-stats, keep it and wear it even when the main stat is one tier short.
Set Bonus or Dupes: Which Comes First
Prioritize the set that grants Electro DMG or ATK bonus. Complete the 2-piece first and treat the 4-piece as a bonus. The classic trap is wearing Echoes with the wrong main stat just to finish a 4-piece, which puts the cart before the horse. Main stats come first, set effects second; do not flip the order.
On dupes: S0 can clear the Tower, S1 to S2 is the best value, and past S3 it is purely a budget question. If you have to pick one thing, clean up your sub-stats first. The gain from a single dupe is worth less than pushing your sub-stats from "passable" to "fight-ready". Also see: Wuthering Waves Suoming Teams

Wuthering Waves Tower of Adversity Cycle 41: Three Teams in Two and a Half Days
Build talk done. Now for the part that actually blocks people this week.
Cycle 41 of the Tower ends November 9 at 03:59, leaving two and a half days. Each floor takes its own team and you cannot swap members mid-run, so a full clear has little to do with how strong your single best character is, and everything to do with whether you own three teams that can each hold a floor on their own. Most people stuck this cycle look like this: a strong account with exactly one team.
How to Arrange the Three Teams
Team one is Suoming as main DPS, soaking the Electro buff. Team two is your next most invested main DPS. Team three is a healer plus a sub-DPS to hold the line.
Do not expect team three to be fast; expect it to stand. One death on a floor ruins the whole team, so stability matters far more than speed.
Match Teams to the Buff
The buff changes every cycle, so check which element it favors before you enter (the in-game buff is the final word). If it favors Electro, throw the Suoming team at the hardest floor; if it favors another element, put Suoming mid-pack and save your strongest team for the hardest floor.
Where the Tower gets hard is rarely the damage; it is error tolerance. So healers and shielders move ahead of DPS in priority. We have put the team tables together in GameHub's Wuthering Waves section, ready to copy.

Wuthering Waves 3.7 Resources: Astrite and Materials Over These Four Days
November 7 through November 11 at 11:59 mark the last four days of this phase. Split your spending two ways: one part for the Wuthering Waves 3.7 banners, one part for building.
Order of Astrite Spending
Character pity, then weapon, then dupes, in that order. Hard pity on a 5-star is 80 pulls at 160 Astrite each, so 12,800 Astrite in the worst case; counting the 50/50, a character can cost up to 160 pulls.
If you are holding fewer than 80 pulls, I would skip this phase. Not because you are forbidden to pull, but because that budget most likely will not land the character, and the Tower will not feel good either, so you lose on both ends.
Which Materials to Farm First
Suoming's ascension and skill materials come first; Echo EXP can wait. Tower rewards reset on a cycle, while material domains are always open, so clear the Tower first and backfill materials afterward. Do it in reverse and you end up with a mountain of materials and no Tower time left.
Pull or Not?
If your DPS roster is all Havoc or Glacio and Electro weaknesses force you to brute-force everything, Suoming fills the gap and is usable the moment you pull him. If you already have a built Electro main DPS, the gain this phase is limited and your Astrite is better saved for 3.8.
3.7 ends November 11 at 11:59, and the 3.8 preview usually goes out about a week before the banner closes. If you are not in a hurry on the Tower, wait until the November 9 stream and decide after that.
So in the end the question is not whether Suoming is strong; it is whether your account is missing this particular Electro main DPS. Answering that is worth more than ten damage charts.
The Tower closes in two and a half days and the banner in four. Whose Suoming has more dupes matters far less than whether the three teams you own can each hold a floor. Characters leave with the patch; teams that stand on their own do not.
Time is short: Tower first, banner talk later.

Wuthering Waves FAQ: Suoming and the Tower
What can Suoming use without his signature weapon?
A: Bridge with any Sword whose sub-stat is Crit Rate or Crit DMG. The gap to Chenming is roughly one sub-stat tier, and your stand-in should still push Crit Rate above 60%.
Two days left on Tower Cycle 41. Is it still doable?
A: Yes. Clearing all three floors usually takes 40 to 60 minutes, so one uninterrupted block before November 9 at 03:59 is enough. Do not start in the final half hour.
My Echo rolled the wrong main stat. Should I re-farm?
A: Check the sub-stats. If it has both crit stats, keep it; a one-tier main-stat shortfall costs about 10%, which is far better than having nothing to wear.
Are Resonance Chain dupes worth chasing?
A: S0 to S2 is the best value; past S3 each dupe adds roughly 8% to 12%. Players on a budget should fix sub-stats first.
Should I save Astrite before 3.8?
A: Yes. 3.8 opens after November 11, and a new character usually brings a new Echo set, so banking 80 pulls and deciding then is safer than forcing it now.

Wuthering Waves: Your Four-Day Action List
- November 7: enter the Tower, read which element the cycle buff favors, and lock in your team assignment for all three floors.
- November 7 to November 8: clear all three Tower floors. Do not leave it for the early hours of November 9.
- Echoes: match your COST4 and COST3 main stats first, and prioritize keeping double-crit sub-stats.
- Banners: under 80 pulls, skip this phase; if pity is covered, character first, weapon second.
- After November 9: watch the 3.8 preview, then decide whether to put the rest of your Astrite in.
Once 3.8 goes live, this guide will be updated with a comparison version at gghubs.com.
