Honkai: Star Rail 4.7 Myriad Harmonies: The Two Echo Thresholds
First, how Echoes accumulate. During the event, spending one Star Rail Special Pass on any event warp earns 16 Echoes; spending one Outfit Invitation at the “Fantasia Showcase” earns 10. Both routes work, but the gap speaks for itself: to reach the same 1,600 Echoes, Special Passes cost you 100 while Invitations cost you 160 — sixty more for exactly the same reward.
Then there are the payout points. Reach 1,600 Echoes cumulatively and you receive one Fated Star Soul; reach 3,200 and you receive another, two in total. Note that the rewards come in whole cells rather than as a percentage rebate — the gap between 99 passes and 100 isn’t one pass, it’s an entire Star Soul. And no matter how far past 3,200 you go, a third one never appears. Does that “so close, just a little more” design feel familiar? It’s the same logic as banner pity.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.7 Limited Bundles: What the ¥6, ¥30 and ¥98 Tiers Actually Give You
With the arithmetic settled, the first thought most people have is probably this: so can I buy bundles and reach 100 passes faster? Bundles do speed things up a little — but how much faster is something you have to calculate, not eyeball. Let’s lay all three tiers out.
The ¥6 Discount Ticket
One purchase of the ¥6 Discount Ticket yields one Star Rail Special Pass, one Star Rail Pass and 30,000 Credits. It’s limited to one purchase per account and on sale until 03:59 on December 23, 2026; buying it again refunds 60 Ancient Oneiric Shards. Six yuan for 16 Echoes is, frankly, not even a rounding error against the threshold — you buy this one for the 30,000 Credits and the regular Pass, not as a step toward a Star Soul.
The ¥30 Trailblaze Boost
The ¥30 Trailblaze Boost is where things get interesting: four of the passes are hidden inside login rewards. Buy it and 320 Ancient Oneiric Shards plus 2 Fuel land immediately; from the next day onward, each daily login unlocks one Star Rail Special Pass and 2 Fuel. Over five consecutive login days the total comes to 320 Ancient Oneiric Shards, 4 Special Passes and 10 Fuel, one purchase per account. The whole point of this tier is those four passes — exactly 64 Echoes. The design has you pay up front and hands the passes out slowly, so if you buy it and forget to log in, those passes simply sit in the login rewards and nobody can collect them on your behalf. Buy it, then actually log in.
The ¥98 Special Pass Gift Box
The ¥98 Special Pass Gift Box is the most substantial of the three: 10 Star Rail Special Passes plus 100,000 Credits per box, limited to two purchases, with 1,090 Ancient Oneiric Shards refunded on each repeat purchase. Ten passes is 160 Echoes; two boxes is 320, roughly a fifth of the way to the 1,600 tier. Sounds like a lot? A fifth is still only a fifth — the remaining four-fifths you’ll have to pull one pass at a time. Buy all three tiers to their limits — 1 from the ¥6 tier, 4 from the ¥30 tier, 20 from two ¥98 boxes — and you’re holding 25 Special Passes, a little over 400 Echoes, still 1,200 short of 1,600. Which is where the answer basically falls out: bundles are not a workable route to a Star Soul. What your money buys is distance, not the finish line.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.7 Shop Update: Gift of Stardust and Spirit Convergence
So bundles won’t get you there. Is there anything else in this shop refresh worth a look? Yes — and one of them has nothing whatsoever to do with Star Souls, yet deserves your attention first. Gift of Stardust is purely cosmetic. New this round: Trailblaze headwear “Plotting Something” and “Apprentice Angel” at 800 Lone Star Dust each; avatars “Grand Ambitions,” “Lightning Speed” and “Rendezvous of a Thousand Stars” at 400 each; plus the namecard “Thousand-Star Frequency” at 400. None of it touches your stats — take what you like, leave the rest. The real hazard with cosmetics was never the price; it’s getting bored of them two days after you equip them.
Spirit Convergence is where you can obtain limited characters without pulling. New this time is the limited 5-star character Jiaoqiu (Nihility · Fire), redeemable with Companion Aurum; on the Light Cone side there’s the limited 5-star Light Cone “Those Countless Springs” (Nihility), redeemable with Light Cone Memory Shards. If you’re sitting on a stockpile, look here before you look at the banner — a Star Soul costs you pulls, Jiaoqiu doesn’t. Same 4.7, one of them spends passes and the other saves them.
The Protocol Shop, meanwhile, offers two choose-your-own bundles. The Herta · Strategic Support Protocol costs 720 Ancient Oneiric Shards and lets you pick two of: Self-Modeling Resin ×1, Relic Remains ×800, Tears of Dream ×240, Traveler’s Guide ×100, Refined Aether ×80, Lost Crystal ×120 — five purchases max. The Strategic Partnership Agreement costs 2,680 Ancient Oneiric Shards, grants a flat 10 Star Rail Special Passes and then three choices from Self-Modeling Resin ×2, Relic Remains ×1,600, Tears of Dream ×480 and Lost Crystal ×240 — also five purchases max. Which tier to take depends on whether you’re short on upgrade materials or on passes.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.7: Is Chasing Echoes Worth It? Three Account Types, Three Answers
Everything is on the table now, and all that’s left is a yes-or-no: are you in on this one? The answer never hinges on how generous the event is — only on whether you were going to pull anyway. If you already planned to spend 100 passes or more, this is free money. Echoes accumulate automatically, the ladder quietly hands you a Fated Star Soul, and there’s no added cost; hit 200 passes and it hands you two. Run the conversion above once to see whether you clear 3,200 — no extra actions, no counting on your fingers. Pull as planned and the rewards turn up on their own.
If you’re only planning 30 to 50 passes, don’t force it. That puts you somewhere between 480 and 800 Echoes — still half a threshold away. The dangerous thing at this point isn’t your wallet, it’s your mindset: I’ve already pulled 40, so wouldn’t 60 more land me a Soul? But a Star Soul’s value should never be sold to you by the phrase “almost there.” That phrase has already fooled more than enough people inside the banner. And if you’re not pulling at all, this ladder has nothing to do with you. Judge the bundles on their own merits if you like, but the ¥6, ¥30 and ¥98 tiers cap out at 25 Special Passes combined — a long way from the 100-pass threshold. Buying bundles to chase Echoes only turns “not pulling” into “not pulling for more money.”

Honkai: Star Rail 4.7: The New Currency War Season
That essentially closes the books on the redemption math. 4.7 also launched a gameplay track alongside all of this — unrelated to Echoes, but easy to confuse with them, so it’s worth a short note. The “Currency War: Voyage into the Frame” hub page is live, opened on October 30; the official wording is that the new season is a major update, and the page introduces the season’s themed gameplay. The specifics live in that page — this article won’t invent unconfirmed numbers, because a guessed figure does more damage than no figure at all.
To be clear up front: it does not connect to the shop. Currency War is a standalone mode, and Echoes only come from warps and the Fantasia Showcase. The two never touch — you cannot top up Echoes by playing the mode. Season rewards and shop stock are two separate systems, so don’t mistake season progress for Echo progress.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.7: FAQ
Do 100 Special Passes guarantee one Fated Star Soul?
Yes. 1 Special Pass = 16 Echoes, so 100 passes = 1,600 Echoes, and 1,600 claims one Soul. At 3,200 you claim a second; two is the maximum for the event.
Do Outfit Invitations earn Echoes too?
Yes, but at a worse rate. 1 Invitation = 10 Echoes, so 1,600 Echoes takes 160 Invitations. Special Passes remain the better deal.
How many Special Passes do the bundles yield at their limits?
Counting the purchase limits: 1 from the ¥6 tier, 4 from the ¥30 tier, and 20 from two ¥98 boxes — 25 in total, about 400 Echoes, still 1,200 short of the 1,600 tier.
Honkai: Star Rail 4.7: Action Checklist
- Work out how many Special Passes you were going to spend in 4.7 first, then decide whether to follow this ladder.
- If you’ll clear 100, pull as normal — Echoes accumulate automatically and need no extra input.
- If you’re close but don’t want to pull more, don’t force it with bundles: 25 passes won’t buy you a tier.
- If you hold Companion Aurum, check Jiaoqiu in Spirit Convergence first — that’s the door to a limited character without pulling.
- Gift of Stardust is cosmetic, so buy whatever appeals; it won’t affect progression.
