Arknights Moon Over Water Finale Guide: What to Farm Before Sept 25

Arknights Moon Over Water Deadlines: Everything Closing September 25
The event shuts three separate doors at the same second, and none of them reopen.
Stage and shop closing times
The SideStory runs from 04 September 12:00 to 25 September 03:59, and unlocks after clearing main story 1-10. The stage batch labeled "Funeral Parlour" opened later, on 11 September at 16:00. The campus shop shares that same window and closes with the stages.
That leaves roughly half a day of playtime as of writing. If you finished the story but never spent your tokens, tonight is the deadline, not the weekend.
What expires alongside it
The crossover outfits for Makoto Yuki, Yukari Takeba, Aigis and Koromaru leave the store at 25 September 03:59, and the notice explicitly states they cannot be bought with an Outfit Voucher . The daily ten-pull tickets from the login campaign already expired on 18 September at 03:59, so there is nothing to chase there.
Hard expiry list: event tokens, login tickets, crossover outfits. None of these have a recovery path.
Arknights Campus Shop Priority: Buy These Three First
Crossover shops differ from standard Side Story shops because some materials have no equivalent in the permanent store, which pushes them up the priority order.
Limited upgrade materials first
Module materials and the Data Supplement Instrument come first. They stay useful across every version. Second tier is Chip Catalysts and Skill Summaries, the generic costs of elite promotion and mastery. Furniture parts, combat records and green materials sit last.
Short version: convert limited tokens into permanent progression before you buy decoration.
Furniture and cosmetics last
Some furniture and avatars are event-locked and only return on reruns, which are not scheduled. If tokens are plentiful, finish the set. If they are tight, let the decoration go.

Arknights Shadow Chase Event: How to Level the Shadow Gift
Shadow Chase is the limited event running on a separate calendar, and it is the one most players are quietly missing this week.
Dates and reward structure
It opened on 20 September at 16:00 and closes 03 October at 03:59. You raise the Shadow Gift level by participating, and the reward track includes the "Clouds Are Watching You" avatar and the "Joyful Tide" furniture .
Its currency is separate from Moon Over Water and cannot be converted. Shadow Chase has a week more runway, but it draws from the same sanity pool, and that overlap is the real decision.
How much sanity to spend
Work backwards from your module material backlog. If the backlog is large, keep sanity in material stages and do only the daily portion of Shadow Chase. If your upgrade materials are covered, move the surplus into Shadow Gift levels. Exact point thresholds and drops are published on the in-game event page, so check there rather than trusting a static table.
Arknights September Material Stages: Efficiency Comparison
Stage choice should follow the efficiency table, not habit. Here is the Yituliu data synced on 21 September 2026.
The efficiency table
| Material need | Recommended stage | Relative efficiency |
|---|---|---|
| Everything | 14-17 | Highest current tier |
| Purple, blue, green, white only | 14-17 | Same tier |
| Blue, green, white only | MB-6 | 97.5% |
| Green and white only | S3-1 | 94.5% |
| Scattered, mostly green/white | WD-6 | 94.9% |
The new September event stages hit 111.51%, 100.54% and 113.16% on the specific materials they cover. Read that correctly: they beat permanent stages on a narrow set of drops, and only on those.
When the new event stages win
Only when the materials they boost are exactly what you are short of. Otherwise 14-17 is the steadier pick. If your backlog is already small, the sanity is better spent on Shadow Gift levels than on a stage that is 10% more efficient on a material you do not need.
Arknights Mid-Selection Banner: Eyjafjalla and Bagpipe
The Mid-Selection banner runs 17 September 04:00 to 01 October 03:59. Eyjafjalla and Bagpipe share the six-star rate-up at 50% each; Pramanix, Reed and Warfarin share the five-star rate-up at 50%. Eyjafjalla and Pramanix can also be exchanged with Distinction or Commendation certificates during the period.
Role differences
Eyjafjalla is ranged Arts damage output that solves exactly one problem, a missing high-ground caster. Bagpipe's value sits in the Vanguard burst-cycle after elite promotion two: she accelerates the opening.
Certificates or pulls
If you lack high-ground Arts, exchange instead of pulling. Certificate exchange is deterministic. If your Arts coverage is fine, Bagpipe is only worth it for stages where your opening is slow. The deciding question is which stage you are currently stuck on, not which operator ranks higher on a tier list.

Arknights FAQ
Q1: I have not finished the Moon Over Water stages. Is it too late?
A: No. Stages stay open until 25 September 03:59 after clearing main story 1-10. If you are far behind, clear the medal stages and skip the score rewards.
Q2: Do Shadow Chase and Moon Over Water share tokens?
A: No. Separate currencies. Shadow Chase runs until 03 October 03:59, a week longer.
Q3: What happens to unspent campus shop tokens?
A: They expire with the shop at 25 September 03:59 with no recovery. Spend in the order: module materials, Data Supplement Instrument, skill summaries, furniture.
Q4: What are the Mid-Selection six-star odds?
A: Eyjafjalla and Bagpipe are 50% each of the six-star pool. The three five-stars share 50% of the five-star pool.
Q5: 14-17 or MB-6 for materials right now?
A: 14-17 if you need the full material spread, MB-6 for blue/green/white only (97.5%), S3-1 for green/white only (94.5%).

Arknights Action Checklist
- Empty the campus shop tonight: module materials, Data Supplement Instrument, Chip Catalysts, skill summaries, then furniture.
- Crossover outfits leave at 25 September 03:59. Buy the ones you want now.
- Push Shadow Chase only to the Shadow Gift tier that awards the avatar and furniture.
- Farm the stage that matches your gap: 14-17 general, MB-6 blue-green-white, S3-1 green-white.
- Decide on the banner by gap: exchange Eyjafjalla if you lack high-ground Arts, do not pull for her.
