Sony PS6 Specs Reportedly Leaked: Major Ray-Tracing Boost

Next-gen PlayStation specs leak, with ray-tracing performance up 4x

Developers recently leaked partial specs for the next-generation PlayStation console on social media. The PS6 will reportedly feature a custom AMD chip with ray-tracing performance more than 4x that of the PS5. The new console will also support 8K gaming and refresh rates up to 240Hz, along with faster NVMe SSD storage reaching read speeds of up to 20GB/s. Sony has yet to officially respond to the reports. Industry analysts believe the PS6 could launch during the 2027 holiday season.
