Genshin Moonchase 7.1 event: dates and entry requirements
The event runs in three stages: stage one on 2026/09/24 10:00, stage two on 2026/09/26 04:00, and stage three on 2026/09/28 04:00, all closing at 2026/10/12 03:59.
Only two entry requirements
You need Adventure Rank 20 or above and completion of the Archon Quest Prologue Act III, "Song of the Dragon and Freedom." The announcement adds a soft suggestion: playing after completing the Story Quests "Xianggao Tower Act I" and "Dream Pillow Act I" plus the hotspot event "Riding the Clouds, Praising the Jade Wheel" gives better story continuity, but none of those is a gate.
Why waiting for all three stages is a trap
The stages unlock on September 24, 26, and 28 but share one closing date. Stage three therefore has four fewer usable days than stage one. Festival events typically include daily tasks and resin pacing, so players who start on the 28th often cannot finish the Festival Atmosphere track before October 12.

Driving Out Evil
You steer a vine construct along a fixed path, collecting immortal power or dispelling evil force for a higher score. This is a routing and collection efficiency game. Your score comes from net gain along the path, so chasing every mob can cost you immortal power pickups.
Paper Banner Exorcism
This one runs in two phases. In the first phase, defeat as many ordinary enemies as possible. In the second, deal as much damage as possible to the enemy leader. Because the two phases score differently, do not build around single-target output for phase one. Bring a clearing team, then swap to a boss-killer for phase two.
Talisman Spirit Bolt
Here you fire spirit bolts using talismans and spells to defeat as many enemies as possible. This leans on execution rather than character investment, so even a fresh account can score well.
Genshin Silverlight: how to earn it and what else you get
Completing activities grants Festival Atmosphere. Raising the cumulative total to set thresholds awards the sword Silverlight, Primogems, Crown of Insight, and event-exclusive weapon refinement materials. You can also take Festival Duties and Serendipitous Tales quests during the event for Primogems and other rewards.
Is Silverlight worth farming for?
Silverlight is a 4-star sword whose effect grants Elemental Mastery after the wielder uses an Elemental Skill.That makes it a straightforward EM-oriented stopgap. The genuinely scarce items on that list are Crown of Insight and the event-exclusive weapon refinement materials, neither of which has a stable regular source. So regardless of whether you need Silverlight, it is worth pushing Festival Atmosphere to the cap rather than skipping the event because the weapon is not a fit.

Building for this rotation
Floor 11 is a universal Anemo and Cryo buff, while floor 12 phase one is tied to Stellaron reactions and phase two to Cryo damage. The trade-off: run a team that reliably triggers Stellaron reactions in the first half and a Cryo DPS in the second, rather than trying to force one team through both. If you can only invest in one team, build Cryo, because it benefits from both the Floor 11 Cryo bonus and the 75% Floor 12 phase two bonus.
Genshin 7.1 Fantastical Sanctum Thespianry: both lineups
The first rotation opens October 1 with Hydro, Cryo, and Anemo as limited elements.
