Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 timeline and launch content
The 4.6 Special Program aired September 20, the maintenance notice followed on September 24, and the Nameless Honor announcement landed September 25. The announced launch date is September 28 for Asia and Europe, September 27 for North America.
Banner structure
Pearl is the chief executive of the Two-Phase Paradise, a 5-star Ice Elation unit who joins the Trailblazer investigating the weaponisation of husk-beasts at the Life Sciences Institute. Her limited 5-star Light Cone Colors for Tomorrow is rate-up all version; phase 1 reruns Evanescia, phase 2 reruns Mortenax Blade.
Story unlock requirements
The 4.6 mission 「Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise」 opens permanently after the update for Trailblaze Level 21 and above, with early access through the Finality's Vision feature. The official note recommends finishing the Astropolis mission To Roll the Stars in Astropolis first.
Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 Relics: two new sets explained
The Corrosion Cavern Where do the new Relics drop? is new in 4.6 and drops both sets. Their trigger conditions point at completely different roles, so pick by kit, not by substat luck.

Who should wear the actor set
The 4-piece triggers on casting Skill or Ultimate on another single ally, which is a support pattern: it rewards targeted support actions rather than personal damage. The 10-point Good work deserves a reward threshold is an accumulating resource inside the Elation system, so the set suits supports that generate it reliably, not basic-attack self-loopers.
Who should wear the Heretic set
The Heretic set is the mirror image: Crit DMG 16% on two pieces, Basic ATK DMG +36% plus a stacking ATK buff on four. Its value curve rewards staying on field and chaining basics. For characters whose damage comes from Ultimates or Skills, it does close to nothing.
Honkai: Star Rail Pearl kit and team building
Pearl's identity is clear from the official preview: 5-star Ice, Elation path, chief executive of the Two-Phase Paradise. The showcase highlighted a Basic ATK that deals Ice damage scaling off her own DEF, an enhanced Basic ATK that heals the whole team while dealing AoE Ice damage, and a Skill that boosts allies' follow-up damage based on how many Elation characters are on the team.
What DEF scaling implies
If damage scales off DEF, her offence and survival are coupled: stacking DEF raises both output and effective HP. The side effect is that stat value depends on whether her Relic set provides DEF%, so build around DEF plus Effect Hit Rate or Energy rather than a generic crit curve.
Elation count sets the ceiling
A Skill that scales with the number of Elation characters means Pearl is not a universal plug-in. With one Elation teammate her support value compresses, and it is more honest to run her as a healer plus sub-DPS.

Nameless Honor runs from the 4.6 update until 2026/11/09 03:59, for Trailblaze Level 12 and above who have completed the Jarilo-VI mission 「Long Wait for the Blade's Edge」.
Free track versus paid track
The free track gives Star Rail Passes, Self-Modeling Resin and Tracks of Destiny through weekly and period missions, capped at Honor level 70. Unlocking Nameless Glory immediately grants 680 Stellar Jade and, as levels rise, 1 Light Cone Shard, 4 Star Rail Special Passes, a 4-star Light Cone selector, 1 Variable Dice, 2 Self-Modeling Resin, Relic Remains and the universal Trace material Tears of Dreams. Nameless Medal adds 10 levels instantly plus Pearl-themed and Argenti-themed avatars, another Light Cone Shard, 200 Stellar Jade and Fuel.
Weekly reset discipline
Weekly missions refresh every Monday at 04:00 server time, and experience stops counting once you hit the level cap. Purchases close at 02:59 on 2026/11/09, an hour before rewards stop, so do not leave buying to the final day.
Honkai: Star Rail Currency War season reset
Currency War: Zero-Sum Game gets double promotion points in 4.6, and the official notice confirms the season ends with the version.
What resets
Resetting content includes bond-link rewards, Data Bank rewards and collection progress, promotion level rewards and levels, standard game rank rewards, expected income rewards, season advantage nodes and activation items, and win streaks. If your win streak is 10 or higher when the season ends, it is recorded in the Zero-Sum Game commemorative trophy.
What survives
Startup guide rewards and already-activated permanent advantage nodes do not reset, and your rank in this season affects your starting rank next season. The avatar 「Final Victor」 moves to Herta's shop for Herta Bonds, and that item has a holding cap.

One trade-off call
Without an existing Elation roster, I would farm a 4-piece actor set before pulling Pearl. The set serves the whole system and pays off no matter which support you end up using, while Pearl's Skill value is capped by how many Elation characters you own. If you already run an Elation damage dealer, reverse it: Pearl fills the healing plus amplification slot the system lacks, which makes her the highest-value pickup in the version.
