Version 3.6, "Mirage Lanterns, Mortal Swordheart," went live on August 20, 2026. The first half runs Qingxiao (Aero, Sword, five-star) alongside the returning Danya, and the second half brings Jingran (Fusion, Broadblade) with reruns for Feixue and Ningning. Qingxiao is the Aero main DPS of the Resonance Interference system: she cycles between Qinxin and Jianpo to enter the Tanti Immortal-state, then closes with a finisher heavy attack. Her teammates trigger Resonance Interference to stack Mind Lock on the target for up to 65% damage amplification, so she leans hard on Danya and Ningning. Wuthering Waves 3.6 Qingxiao Overview: Banner and Role
Qingxiao is the first-half limited five-star of 3.6, Aero element with a Sword weapon, built for long rotation damage.
Banner timing
3.6 launched August 20, 2026. The first half opened Qingxiao with the returning Danya, and both signature weapons shipped with the version: Yunlang (Sword) and Qianbandu (Broadblade). The second half, roughly mid-September, brings Jingran, so plan your Astrites if you want both.
Role and version environment
Qingxiao is a flashy kit with a high ceiling, but she depends on the Resonance Interference shell. Version 3.6 also rebuilt the echo recommendation system so it matches a character's role and rotation, with a preview of the results before you commit. New players will find her aerial chase and long rotation forgiving; veterans need the interference loop running.
Wuthering Waves Qingxiao Kit: Qinxin, Jianpo and the Finisher
Her damage loop runs on two energy resources, and the loop has to be clean before numbers matter.
Building Qinxin and Jianpo
Qingxiao has two stances, lute and sword, and her basic attacks alternate between building Qinxin and Jianpo. With both bars full, a heavy attack enters the Tanti Immortal-state, and stacking Mind Swords to full lets her close with the finisher heavy attack for heavy Aero damage. Do not fire the heavy attack early during the warm-up phase; fill both bars first.
Mind Lock and 65% amplification
When a teammate triggers Resonance Interference, Mind Lock stacks on the target for up to 65% damage amplification. A large share of Qingxiao's ceiling sits with her teammates. Without Danya and Ningning, recalculate the pull cost, because stacking her personal stats alone returns little.

Echoes are the first investment priority. Set effect plus Cost structure defines the baseline.
Set choice and Cost allocation
Run the five-piece Qingxie Dangsha set . For Cost, a 4+4+3+1+1 structure maximises the five-piece payoff and fits most builds; 4+3+3+1+1 trades that for more flexible stats. Put a Calamity or Overlord echo in the 4-Cost slot for the stronger main stat . Version 3.6 also added the weekly boss echo Muyu plus Xunxiao Lance Guard, Xunxiao War Machine and Yuming Snake as new sources .
Main and sub stat priority
Main stats: crit rate, crit damage, Aero damage bonus and attack percent. Sub stats lean crit, and crit rate needs to stay at 70% or above. Keep the crit rate to crit damage ratio near 1:2, for example 70% to 140% .
Tuning rules and the pass line
Each tuning roll randomly upgrades one sub stat. Test with cheap materials for the first two rolls: if both land on flat DEF or flat HP, switch to a different echo instead of investing further. A reasonable pass line is a combined crit rate plus crit damage of 40% or more.

Yunlang is her signature five-star sword, and its kit is written for the interference system.
Yunlang numbers and stacking
Yunlang has 500 base attack and 36% crit rate, with a 12% attack increase. After triggering Resonance Interference it grants 11.2% Aero damage bonus for 2 seconds, stacking up to 5 times and triggering once every 0.5 seconds. At full stacks the duration extends to 30 seconds, and while active Aero damage ignores 10% of target defence.
Budget alternative
Without the signature, the battle pass sword Wenqiu covers crit rate and is the cheapest bridge. Check two things when swapping: whether crit rate still clears 70%, and whether the weapon's effect can trigger inside your opening stack window. Otherwise the real gap will be wider than the panel gap.

Which team to run
The standard interference team has the highest ceiling because Danya and Ningning together push Mind Lock toward the 65% cap. The aerial version suits fights that reward staying airborne. The starter bridge only needs the loop to function, using any buffer in place of Ningning while you learn her rotation.
Tower entry conditions
Tower of Adversity floors rotate resistances and buffs every cycle. Check the floor for Aero resistance shred or generic attack buffs before entering. Qingxiao performs best into Aero-weak floors, and you should swap teams rather than brute force an Aero-resistant floor.

Chain value differs sharply, so spend on the chain that changes the loop.
S1 versus S2
S1 adds crit and improves the opening, which is a consistency gain. S2 boosts her heavy attack multipliers and speeds up the warm-up, making it the best value for cost. S6 is the finished form. Competitive players can chase S6; most accounts should stop at S2.
Pull plan and material farming
The recommended plan is S0 plus signature to start, with S2 plus signature as the best value point . Farm breakthrough materials and skill materials first, then echo tuning materials: the first two are hard gates on power, while tuning mats accumulate naturally because you will swap echoes repeatedly. If Astrites are tight, secure the character and bridge the weapon with Wenqiu.
