Arknights P3R Collab: Makoto Yuki Build Guide and E2 Materials
Four operators arrived with this collab, and they split cleanly into banner units and a free event unit. As of 20 September 2026 the 【Shi Bai Shen Lan Zhi Ye】 collab banner is still running. This guide covers Makoto Yuki's kit, the full promotion material list, skill and talent priorities, and how the four collab operators fit together in one squad. Every number here comes from the bwiki operator pages and the official collab banner notice.

Arknights P3R collab: the four operators and how you get them
The collab operators cover four classes and run from 6-star down to 1-star, and the acquisition split matters more than the class split.
Classes, rarities and branches
Makoto Yuki is a 6-star Specialist, Puppeteer branch, operator ID PS33, listed under S.E.E.S. and Laterano, released 4 September 2026. Aigis is a 5-star Sniper in the Skyranger branch; her trait reads that she takes off after deployment, attacks only aerial enemies while airborne, and lands when her skill is activated to deal area physical damage. Yukari Takeba is a 5-star Supporter in the Skirmisher branch with a trigger-type effect. Koromaru is a 1-star Guard in the Swordmaster branch whose normal attacks hit twice and who is not counted against the deployment limit, at the cost of an extremely long redeploy time .
Banner units versus the free unit
Makoto Yuki, Aigis and Yukari Takeba are all listed under the 【Shi Bai Shen Lan Zhi Ye】 collab banner. Koromaru is listed as obtained from the 【Moonlit Waters】 event. That means Koromaru costs no pulls at all, while the other three do, so the real planning question is how to divide recruitment between them.

Arknights Makoto Yuki kit: the Puppeteer branch and the substitute mechanic
The Puppeteer branch is built around not leaving the field. When Makoto Yuki takes lethal damage he does not retreat; he switches to a substitute with 0 block, and after 20 seconds he swaps back.
What the trait actually does
The trait text states that he does not retreat on lethal damage, switches to a substitute with 0 block, and after 20 seconds replaces the substitute with himself again. Two consequences follow. First, he can deliberately eat a lethal hit to buy tempo. Second, his block is 0 for the whole substitute window, so any lane plan that relies on him holding a chokepoint has a gap there.
Stats and deployment cost
Base stats are 1311 HP, 356 ATK, 126 DEF, 0 RES, with a 1.2 second attack interval, 2 block, 14 DP cost and a 70 second redeploy timer. At Elite 2 max level he reaches 2805 HP, 785 ATK and 305 DEF, and Elite 2 adds 2 DP to his cost . A 1.2 second interval is fast for a melee operator, and 14 DP is affordable in any squad with a vanguard.
Arknights Makoto Yuki materials: Elite 1 and Elite 2 checklist
Materials are the part of this collab people underestimate, because three other collab operators compete for the same chips.
Elite 1 and Elite 2 requirements
Elite 1 (level 50) needs 30,000 LMD, 5 Specialist Chips, 8 Polyester and 4 Oriron. Elite 2 (level 80) needs 180,000 LMD, 4 Specialist Dualchips, 4 Crystalline Electrokilns and 2 Polymerization Units. Total LMD across both promotions is 210,000, and Elite 2 accounts for 180,000 of it.
What to farm first
Specialist Chips and Dualchips come from chip search stages, while Polyester and Oriron fill up from normal farming. The bottlenecks are the Elite 2 gold materials. If you are also promoting Aigis or Yukari Takeba in the same week, farm one chip type to completion before switching, rather than bouncing between stages in a single session.
Arknights Makoto Yuki skills and talents
His skills unlock in two stages: Thánatos' Prison Lock at Elite 1, and the Blade That Opens Tomorrow at Elite 2. His talents are Unbridled Strength and S.E.E.S. Captain, both improved at Elite 1 and again at Elite 2.
When each skill unlocks
Per the data page, Elite 1 grants the new skill Thánatos' Prison Lock and improves both talents, while Elite 2 grants the Blade That Opens Tomorrow, adds 2 DP to his cost, and unlocks the module system. He plays properly at Elite 1 already; Elite 2 is mostly about the ceiling and the second skill.
Talent versus mastery
If resources are tight, promote to Elite 1 and stop before mastery. Elite 1 delivers two new talent layers, whereas mastery only scales effects you already have. Treating him purely as a utility pick, Elite 1 level 50 covers most content.
Arknights P3R collab team comps: role split for the four-operator squad
The collab squad's strength is a clean role split; its weakness is that all four units want the same chips.
| Team | Operators | Role split | When it works |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full collab squad | Makoto Yuki + Aigis + Yukari Takeba + Koromaru | Makoto Yuki tanks and deals damage, Aigis covers air, Yukari Takeba supports, Koromaru chips with double hits | All four raised to usable levels |
| Makoto Yuki plus a normal squad | Makoto Yuki + DP vanguard + medic + area sniper | Use the substitute trait to absorb one lethal hit and keep formation | You did not raise the other three |
| Budget collab squad | Makoto Yuki + Koromaru + two regular operators | Koromaru costs 3 DP and ignores the deployment limit, so filling slots is nearly free | Not enough pulls for the banner |
Positioning in the full collab squad
Put Makoto Yuki on the front line to take hits and trigger the substitute. Aigis attacks only aerial enemies while airborne, so she has to be aimed at air waves specifically. Yukari Takeba is a 5-star Skirmisher Supporter with a trigger effect and belongs further back. Koromaru costs 3 DP with 2 block, and because he is not counted against the deployment limit he is the cheapest filler in the squad.
Mixing with regular operators
Do not make Makoto Yuki your only defensive line, because his substitute has 0 block. Either run him as a second front-liner, or drop a cheap unit such as Koromaru into the gap during the substitute window. Aigis is dead weight against ground-only waves, so swap her out on those maps.
Arknights Makoto Yuki in practice, and where to spend resources
Elite 1 level 50 covers event stages and normal content; Elite 2 level 80 is a long-term target.
Positioning and redeploy rhythm
The 70 second redeploy is his real second cost. His value sits on the field, so once you retreat him you are waiting 70 seconds for a second entry. Take the lethal hit and use the substitute instead of repositioning. Spend key skills inside the 20 second substitute window and the timing lines up with his return.
Priority table
| Priority | Item | Why |
|---|---|---|
| High | Elite 1 level 50 | Unlocks Thánatos' Prison Lock and both talent upgrades for 30,000 LMD |
| Medium | Elite 2 level 80 | Unlocks the Blade That Opens Tomorrow and modules, costs 180,000 LMD plus gold materials |
| Medium | Koromaru | Free from the event, 3 DP, ignores the deployment limit |
| Low | Aigis, Yukari Takeba | Both need banner pulls; only build if you need anti-air or support |
Arknights Makoto Yuki FAQ
Q: How much LMD does Makoto Yuki need in total?
A: 30,000 for Elite 1 plus 180,000 for Elite 2, so 210,000 LMD, along with 5 Specialist Chips and 4 Specialist Dualchips.
Q: Does Makoto Yuki leave the field when he dies?
A: No. On lethal damage he switches to a substitute with 0 block, and after 20 seconds he replaces it himself.
Q: Does Koromaru need pulls?
A: No. He comes from the 【Moonlit Waters】 event, costs 3 DP, has 2 block, and is the cheapest filler unit in the collab.
Q: Who should I pull for first on the collab banner?
A: Makoto Yuki if you lack a front-liner with a real mechanic, Aigis if you lack anti-air. Yukari Takeba is a support pick and can wait.
Q: Is Elite 1 enough?
A: Yes. Elite 1 grants Thánatos' Prison Lock and upgrades Unbridled Strength and S.E.E.S. Captain, which is enough for event and normal stages.
